Seems to be exactly what I was looking for
I needed something to hold onto in order to control my toddler while she is on the kick bike. This seems to be perfect. Good solid handle in the back and a sturdy leash.

Decent
My kids picked up skiing quick, then I injured my back, so I only used this twice on the bunny hill. Seemed to do the job easy enough. The hand grip is nice.I wasn’t sure what to do when going back up the magic carpet with the excess of rope. It’s difficult to unclip with gloves on and also difficult to stuff in the pocket. So I had to remove my gloves each time. Kind of annoying

Life saver. The functionality I needed at a good price.
The media could not be loaded. This harness made skiing with my 3-year-old so much easier. In one day he went from barely being able to stand on his skis, to being able to steer himself and balance while all I did was slow him down. It would also be helpful for older children, at least until they start to get comfortable on their own. I will continue to use it with my youngest for a while.I haven't used other brands, but from reading the reviews I think this harness would be comparable to more expensive brands.PROS:- Easy to put on- Back handle sticks out from the body, so it is always easy to grab, even with gloves- Buckles are all sturdy- Good design of the strap (reign) buckles. They are metal and the mechanism is perfect. I can operate the clips with gloves and I am confident they will not break or release.CONS- The bag that holds the straps (reigns as I call them) popped off the harness. Not a big deal, it still works to hold the straps during storage, I just wouldn't use it on the mountain.- The shoulder straps sometimes slid down onto the upper arms. Never caused a problem, but the harness could use a chest strap, similar to some backpacks, to keep the shoulder straps up better. There is a strap on the back the mostly holds them up, but it wasn't quite enough.

Great handle, easy to use, one iisue
I love this harness and I live in a ski town in Colorado. My three year old is stopping on her own in pizza (I know this important as I was a ski instructor for many years) but I use the harness to have extra control of her speed should she get going too fast. After 10 runs I stopped using the straps and use the handle only to load the lift AND to pick her up when she is tired. My one complaint (I fixed it by hand sewing) was if I grabbed the over the shoulder or front buckle to lift her up it LOOSENS. I sewed the front straps in place to the size of her waist and jacket. If you do this it is worth the money. The handle is VERY sturdy and we will use this past age six just to load lifts. It will fit her for at least three years. She is a small petite three year old athlete at 25 pounds. I will use this through age 6.

Great teaching tool
It’s providing great control over the kid. You can hold them next to you or up to few meters way, which will allow you to leave the child loose, to feel how much control they have on their own. This way you can gauge when they are ready to go down by themselves. Also great tool for putting them in the ski lift and taking them down.

Strong, safe, good value! Great for training kids
Update: We are now using this harness for roller skating! This is such a great tool for getting kids into a variety of sports.I meant to use these for snowboarding for my 4 & 5 Yr olds but instead we ended up using these while training them to ride bikes! It was the perfect way to put a handle on the backs of the kids and run by the side is the bike as they rode in order to keep them balanced when they needed a hand. Totally worked great! Took only about an hour to get both of them from training wheels to riding on 2 wheels by themselves! These harnesses are sturdy, strong, handles are comfortable. We didn’t use the leashes for this application, of course. We will in the winter on snow, though. Anyway, if you ever need a handle on your little ones, I highly recommend this.

Love it
Surprised my husband and toddler with this for Christmas - was not disappointed! My 2 year old is learning to snowboard and this was PERFECT for helping him learn some of the basics.

ok
Doesn't fit my daughter well, the two hooks are kind of hard to use if your on a snowboard or if your child is on a snowboard. This was cheap ie less than 20 and overall it is useful for when we go snowboarding, but I would recommend a more expensive more quality harness then this.

Good value, we used it for skiing
The media could not be loaded. Bought 2 and used them for my 4 and 6 year old. The straps do loosen on their own but it wasn't that much of a problem for us. The handle on the back was very useful for picking up fallen children. The harness goes around the shoulders like a backpack. If I purchased again I would consider looking for one that straps on around the crotch instead. The harness would ride up and then when using the leash we'd be pulling on the top half of the body making it difficult for our child to get in the proper position for skiing. Our 6 year old needed it mostly for confidence. Having it on and knowing I would slow her down or stop her made her confident enough to do it on her own so I barely needed it. Our no fear 4 year old needed it to stop him from flying off the mountain. It worked better when I made sure the harness was lower and closer to his waist so I could pull lower on his body and he could still lean forward.

Loose Fit
I liked the concept and the rear handle was convenient for lifting a 7 year old up off the snow but the major flaw with this item is the shoulder straps will not stay tight, they have to be readjusted repeatedly as the buckles do not keep the strap in place for very long. I will measure the correct mark and install some snaps into the strap to keep it in place, then it should work just fine. Also, a small pouch in the back for leash storage would be handy as you must unhook the leash each time you ride a chair lift since there is nowhere to store the leash when not in use. Do not grab the back upper strap as the stitches are not strong and will rip out easily. Overall, an ok product for the price and intended use.

Easy and safe
Without this product I didn’t dare to teach my 5 year old how to ski. I connected her to myself first day. Second day she was not connected to me. She could stand on ski by herself. The harness has a handle at the back which helped me lift her whenever she fell down. If you want to train your younger kids how to ski, this gives you more confident to teach.

Exactly what we needed
We used this with our 6-year old to help build her confidence in skiing and to learn in a safe/controlled manner. This is exactly what we needed. By the end of the morning she was able to go down the bunny hill by herself and was confident to do so. We'll likely still use it for a few more ski days to get her started off in the morning but this is a great product and a great way to help young ones get over their fear of skiing.

Great product, but easily could be better
Overall great harness, although I did experience the same thing what someone else here that the clips need to be tightened up few times in one run. Better just saw it with a thread so it won't keep loosening up. Secondly the length is a bit too short. Easily could be 0.5m - 1m longer. Nevertheless, I loved that I taught my 7yr old skiing in 3 days thanks to those so overall I highly recommend it. It is still a great product!
