Great Program for PreK/Kindergarden
Great series of books for PreK and Kindergarten. Lessons are short, entertaining, and get students playing songs they recognize quickly. My students love following the story of Mozart Mouse and Bear. Great series for young students. I've also changed out the stuffed animals for Star Wars characters for a student who focuses better if we follow the adventures of Yoda and the Porg.

Fun way for little ones to learn piano
We just enrolled our 4 year old in private piano lessons and this is the book the teacher uses. The teacher already had Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse. What a great idea to keep little kids interested and help to have fun while learning! So far our daughter loves it.

Excellent books for young piano students!
I’m a private music teacher and I love this series. Excellent for young students age 4-7. It’s engaging and allows students to move through the material at a fun pace that doesn’t make piano lessons feel daunting or boring

Super For Little Piano Students
I've used the Alfred's Mozart Mouse for my younger students, (ages 5 & 6) for years. It's fun for them. They're guided through the basics while being entertained by the stories of Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse. Super for kids who are starting out and are very young. If they in first grade, this series often feels "babyish" to them. I recommend it for pre-K and K.

Moving way too slow
I am not sure why this book seems popular (I know more than one teacher who uses it). But it is very very slow even for our 4 year old. Some reviews say that perhas it's for young players whose parents who dont play pianos and therefore it's made easy. But the book has these lines for parents/teachers to play to accompany children's playing, so it doesnt seem that it's really for families with no piano player in the house either. Anyway, if you dont mind the child going really slow (just covers 10 fingers each finger responsible for one note after 2 books Not playing an real songs yet). The book does have a structured content and just goes tiny steps. I dont see how childen would enjoy playing these tunes that are not related to any familiar melodies. We went ahead to download sheets and buy books for childrens songs instead.

Great to start with
The Lesson book is fun, cute, and educational. I'm using this book to teach my 6 year old daughter piano. I play the piano myself so I teach her a little bit of how I was taught when I was her age. I just wished I had this lesson book back in the day. It has activities and coloring that are cute and easy. You can probably use it for starting at 4, maybe even 3 years old.

Super colourful piano book
This book has colourful pages along with stories. Kids would love this book a lot, the stories are great, it helps to attract kids to learn. The songs in this book are well designed, notes are beginner level, not too easy not and too hard either. I would recommend this to piano beginners.
