Hard to find the sweet spot to get the required stiffness and support. Item came in a plain plastic bag with no instructions. Look elsewhere!

I wear it every day over my sock
The way this folds over the foot and attaches allows it to be very thin and even better fitting than designs that only strap in one place

Size matters
I wear between an 8.5 to 9 and the description said to get large. It was too big and not supportive at all. There needs to be a middle size to provide the support needed.

Minimal support brace
If you are coming off a sprained ankle I wouldn't recommend this brace. I have bad ankles and I've found I need something on my right ankle when playing soccer but it doesn't have to be majorly stable. This brace seems to work well for this purpose. I really don't think it would help much if I really twisted my ankle, but the proprioception of having it there helps me.
