This is what every beginner book binder needs. It's the absolute PERFECT set and the tools, while they are cheap, they work exactly as needed. 10/10 will buy again

New to book binding- these work great so far for strengthening the spine. The bone folders seem to be fine too. I ditched the paint brush though for a silicone one.

I've had these tools for a little while, and can confidently say that I love them. The cheesecloth and bone folders are fantastic and have worked really well. To be honest, the brush's bristles aren't great quality, but I guess you get what you pay for. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase!

I made dozens of journals using this kit. It’s a great value for the amount of cloth included. Definitely worth it to buy, will be buying again for my next big journal project.

We have an old photo album that needed some reinforcing and since it was very old I wanted something that I could do without sending it off and costing me a fortune. This item is great and it was easy to work with. If you need to redo an old book or photo album that is in book form this is great to use. It was easy to work with and it certainly did the job of reinforcing the album and keeping it from falling apart.

For someone trying to learn bookbinding without spending a ton of money up front, this package is okay. The mull (gauze, cheesecloth) is okay. The plastic "bone" folders are okay but may need a light sanding to remove some plastic ridges from the molding process so it doesn't scratch your leather.But the glue brush is pretty much junk. A very short wooden dowel rod with some bristles attached. Use it a couple of times to spread PVA glue, and then buy a few better brushes with longer handles that are easier to wash glue out of.
