Great gift for a baby
This cloth book is an essential item for any baby.I used this for my daughter when she was doing tummy time. It really encouraged her to lift her head up to see all the different pages and colours. When she was old enough to sit, she loves touching the different textures,The cloth book is light, well-made and is very easy to clean. It is soft and suitable for very young babies. The price is a bit high but as it is a branded item, it is not surprising.Item came in a plastic sealed bag which doesn't look great if given as a gift.Highly recommend this item,5/5

Bright, colourful and engaging
Beautifully designed soft bodied babies book. Based on the hungry caterpillar book showing the caterpillar eating, getting bigger and turning into a butterfly. Really bright, colourful and engaging. Soft and padded it's quite lightweight. It folds out to a good size. Each section, front and back, all have different pictures/prints of the caterpillar over. Great for sensory development. 1 page has a different textured sewn part, another with a mirror and ribbons, a hanging soft teether in the shape of a strawberry and also 2 crinkle wings on the butterfly. All the extras have been attatched securely. Says its suitable from birth. The mirror is baby safe. Looks and feels of good quality. Stitched well and no loose threads, which is always important when it comes to little ones. Great that it's washable, hand wash and hang to dry, so you can easily can be kept clean when they've been putting it in their mouths. Perfect for any young baby in its colour and design. Would even make a lovely gift.

Essential for Very Hungry Caterpillar fans
Normally these kind of products end up being flat, not much in them and just images. However this is fairly padded out, has a bunch of things for babies to do and learn and as for the print quality, it really is top quality. This comes in a basic plastic bag which is a shame as in a small box would make it perfect for a gift. It still is great as a gift but personally id like a bit of presentation.Saying that, for the price you pay, I'm happy having this come in simple packaging if the product itself ends up being this nice!Recommended for any fan of the hungry caterpillar

Soft book
A lovely soft book for babies based on The Hungry Caterpillar book.It has a few different textures eg - strawberry shaped teether although it’s right at the top of the book and there’s not much ribbon holding it on which makes it difficult to use. Butterfly has crunchy sounding wings.I’m a little disappointed as they could have added something with texture to each page. One side follows the story like the book but when you turn it over it’s really hard to make up a story to go along with the pictures and it just seems like an afterthoughtMy grandchildren love the Hungry caterpillar story and they own the board book and the large story book but I must say I was disappointed in this cloth book, there are only a couple of textured items for a toddler to feel and the flip side of the book just isn’t very good

Differs somewhat from the original story and illustrations but a nice introduction for infants.
Fabric books are an ideal way to introduce reading to infants - They are soft for children to hold and offer a sensory experience especially when, as with this book, the pages are textured or crinkly. The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle is a much loved and well known children's book which offers so much detail and learning, and appeals to young and old alike. The images in this book match closely to the traditional illustartions by Eric Carle and have a very similar design. However, I was a little disappointed to discover that the illustrations and storyline differ somewhat from the original, with different foods being offered and a slightly altered timeline. However, overall this is a nice introduction to literacy for younger children - The pages offer different textures and details such as mirrors which encourages exploration and engagement.

Softly padded and colourful
This is a lovely soft reproduction of the childhood favourite The very hungry Caterpillar designed for the youngest of babies. It is very soft to feel and has a good amount of padding. It is designed to be utilised during tummy time and for sensory development. The learning factors include a mirror, differing textures, an apple teether, crinkle sound effects and bright colours. It can be propped up for baby to look at or given to baby to hold to explore all of the different textures and images. This would make a lovely gift for a new baby. It is let down a little as it only comes in a polythene bag. A themed box would be so much better for the price.
