The Saddle bottom must be flat
It worked perfectly fine on My Cordoba Flamenco Thin Body Guitar pickup replacement,But was not easy , due to bare wires had to remove old wires from the Pre Amp. board and add new wires ends into Green socket and tighten the screwsLength is 65 mm thin type.need to completely loosen & remove the old Pickup wires from green socket off the Pre-Amp. board and Insert the new Wires in and tighten screws.Do not Join or add new wires to existing wires; because you will get a Hum.ThanksSarkis

UPDATE: Better than I first thought
UPDATE: Sounded better after it settled in. 3 to 4There are many piezo pickups for sale in the $10-20 range. I thought this $100+ item would make more of a difference. It's not a bad item, just expensive with not much improvement. Spend the money on a better preamp. NOTE: there is no plug so I had to solder it.

Worked great to restore the sound of my guitar!
I had a Matrix Infinity pickup installed on my guitar awhile back, love the quality of Fishman electronics. One day, I plugged in to my amp and noticed a hum that persisted unless I touched the end pin. After some online research, I learned that the thin coating on the undersaddle pickup element can be scratched or worn through, causing a failed ground. Instead of replacing the entire electronics unit, I bought this element. Installation went pretty smoothly (the element doesn't really come with instructions, but the Fishman website has manuals for download)...plugged it in, and the hum is gone!Replacement isn't difficult, you'll need a wrench or pliers to remove the jack from the endpin hole and withdraw it from the soundhole, and a couple of small screwdrivers to open the jack and swap the 2 element wires. It is important to identify which is the ground wire and which is the signal wire.

Ya get what ya pay for
I bought one of the cheaper pickups on Amazon to replace the one in my Martin guitar that developed a 60 cycle hum. That one was almost as bad as the one it replaced. I then ordered and installed the Fishman brand pickup and the hum is gone. I should’ve ordered the Fishman in the first place.

Works
These things are pretty pricey considering you can get the generics for about six dollars each and they sound exactly the same

Fishman quality
How can you beat fishman products, You will pay for quality parts, but when it comes to the amplified sound of your guitar it is worth it. bought this for the fishman amp in my Taylor guitar and it has great tone.and volume.

Sounds fine/Not that easy to install
This pickup replaced my existing Fishman Matriix pick-up in my Martin D-18 that after a few years all the sudden had a hum/buzz. I took a change and replaced it with the fisherman brand which solved the problem. I felt a hundreds bucks way over priced for just for the under the saddle pizzo but you pay for the fisherman brand. You can buy other brands for a fraction for the price and probably work just as well but I didn't want to take any chances on the quality. Installation was difficult but not too bad since all I had to do was remove the electronics and solder the wires. I would recommend a professional luthier if you're not experience at installations, especially if the bridge isn't already routed. Hope this helps. Tennessee Jimmy Harrell, Professional Musician

Défaut dans la qualité
Choisi pour équiper une guitare d'un nouveau micro piézzo, ce choix a finalement été mauvais car des bourdonnements intermittents sont apparus après la pause et un réel déséquilibre entre les cordes basses et aïgues. A déconseiller

Ricambio fishmann
