Awesome product
This product was recommended to me for making easy, “ ice cream” treats. It is so easy to use and fruit flavored cool treats are awesome. Slightly ripe frozen bananas and almost any fruit combinations result in creamy goodness. This machine runs pretty much every day in the summer in my house for me and my dogs. It comes with a small recipe book that gave me some good ideas but I have taken to the next level of good ness. I make a batch of banana and pumpkin pupcicles for the dogs and put in small ice cube trays, they love it. Easy to set up and use although it is a bit loud. Clean up is super easy, minimal parts. Holding up well with continuous use over the summer. The texture of the bananas is like thick ice cream, I was surprised because I thought it would be more like ice popsicles. Overall great product if you like bananas and frozen fruit. It is not super sweet like you would expect it to be from bananas and frozen fruit. Frozen blueberries , mango chunks, pineapple, cherries all work well. Frozen pumpkin cubes are good too. I would definitely buy this product again.

Great little sorbet/soft serve maker!
We just ordered this little sorbet/soft serve maker, and we LOVE it! It is so easy to use and clean, and the sorbet is perfect! You can buy your own fresh fruit and freeze it or you can buy bagged frozen fruit. We've done a combo of both. Just place the frozen fruit (slightly thawed per the instructions) in the chute, turn it on, and out comes the sorbet. It has the perfect texture and is so refreshing! If you use frozen bananas, the outcome mimics soft serve ice cream. You can mix in other fruit with the bananas or add in things like choc chips or cookies to change up the flavor. It really is delicious!

We love it, but...
We purchased this a few months ago, and it works great and is easy enough for the kids to use (while supervised). Unfortunately, we put the plunger piece into the dishwasher (top shelf as indicated was okay), and it warped the plastic of the plunger piece. So we can no longer push the fruit down toward the spinning / chopping mechanism. *Posting pictures to show how the plunger piece no longer fits into the device as required. I have submitted a trouble ticket to Yonana to see if I can acquire a replacement piece and will update this review if they get back to me. **update - company sent a free replacement part and we are back to loving this device! Not moving to a full 5 stars as it took several weeks to reach the company and back-and-forth before I was able to get the replacement.

LOVE this machine!
My husband & I are plant based & sometimes crave ice cream but don’t want all the extra garbage ingredients & fat. This machine is wonderful. Somehow it makes fruit taste creamy, like it’s ice cream. We freeze bananas, strawberries, blueberries, etc. and just place them in this magic machine & bam! Ice cream! It’s great. It feels like we’re cheating but we’re not. It’s easy to use, easy to clean & something we’ll most likely use forever. Even if you’re not strictly vegan I think you should give this a try to reduce the amount of absolute garbage in the food you buy from the grocery store.

Not great
It's really not that great. It it makes a huge mess in the process of doing it. It's very noisy and a pain to clean up. Flavor wise it's not really anything out of the ordinary. It tastes exactly and the texture isn't all that different. If you think you're going to put in fruit and get out sorbet, you're very mistaken.

Good but!
This product really works great! It does exactly what it says it does. Freeze your fruit and slide it down the hatch. Viola- homemade ice cream. The only thing I thought of was that the final product isn’t as sweet as what we are typically used to getting in terms of ice cream. That is fine though because this is so healthy. It’s pure fruit, no fillers or added sugar. You could add extra stuff after it comes out if you need it a little sweeter, but that has nothing to do with the effectiveness of this product. I love it.

Easy and Delicious
I’m still learning the right recipes, but this is such a great solution to and ice cream treat without the calories. The key is to let the frozen fruit thaw slightly before putting in the machine. It’s quick, easy and surprisingly delicious. Freeze your fresh fruit for the best flavor.

I mostly love this
I say mostly because my kids (9, 11) are exceeding their daily recommended fruit intake in the name of "ice cream" and a much greater variety. They absolutely love it. My main critique is that it wastes a LOT. There is practically a full serving trapped inside after each use. And after a month of heavy use, the washable, detachable pieces are not staying locked in place so well during use. So we will see how it holds up. But the price is right, compared to a trip to a smoothie shop (this pays for itself after about 2 to 3 visits.) Over all, I would probably recommend.

Note to self… don’t put cacao powder in to make a chocolate ‘ice cream’. It will break. Also doesn’t give a consistent, mixed result.

The product lasted less than 5min of usage. Then I smelled burn and it stopped working. Definitely poor quality

The only way that this device makes non dairy ice cream is by luck. Most of my efforts resulted in banana mush.
