The book, besides being an enjoyable read, brings knowledge of high value, easy understanding and aligned with the realities of modern manufacturing . From my understanding the practical application of the knowledge in this book has great power to increase the competitiveness of organizations. Highly recommended for all who in one way or another, work in manufacturing organizations.

Decent quality at a decent price not bad

Perfect for anyone wanting to a manufacturing plant layout. Easy to read and it is written to where it just simply makes sense.

Good book but it needs more examples.

Good overview of the design principles, but too much academic, when you want to apply it in practice.

This book, along with a complimentary reference on statistical process control, can be eye opening for managers and business owners in all fields. Whether or not it triggers further reading, the most important tools are within.

Has an excellent layout for the budding Industrial Engineer. The Material Handling section is very good and this review is based on years of shop floor experience in a light engineering industry.The price however almost doubled in the time it was in my wish list. Amazon needs to take this up with the publishers.
