Signature Spaces: Well-Traveled Interiors by Paolo Moschino & Philip Vergeylen

I love it! The best decorating book this year! I love it so much I have bought 4 additional copies as gifts for friends!!!

This book is a disappointment in so many ways. Beautiful individual photos are layered over one another in a confusing and distracting manner. There is zero information as to when where or for whom these magnificent rooms were created nor any information about the art works or objects within them. The introduction gives some information about the author/designers and their philosophy and career which is welcome. A few interesting but overused quotes from famous writers,designers,artists, social figures etc are scattered about as though to testify to the author's credentials but come off as merely pretentious. Given a rigorous editor and designer this might have been a really enjoyable volume - certainly the material is there - but it comes off as a vanity project best suited for sale at a design house charity or giveaway to customers.

A very nice book of handsome interiors.

It is a picture book - with many of the rooms repeated throughout the book but styled differently. What a shame as I like Paolo Moschino's style. I would have preferred more text describing his style, and describing the rooms, fabrics, furnishings used to decorate them. I would even like a brief of who his resources that he goes to are. What a disappointment.

Fabulous.....a must have!! Great book!!!

This book is filled with gorgeous pictures and even some people posing in various rooms.... but not a single description of the rooms or even the people in them. If i could have returned this book i would have.

What a terrible disappointment. Would have been so nice for commentary or -- God forbid -- even picture captions!!! Feel like these two boys really took advantage of me as a reader and collector of design monographs. Don't know who blondie is but really reserve my dissapointment for Paolo. Do NOT buy this book. It is a money grab.

The book is large, substantial,and thoughtful. Only the "creme de la creme". I would love to jump into anyone of the majestic photographs. Additionally, the quotes are as inspirational as the eclectic collection of fabulously creative and original interiors.
