Glovemate Stop the Sting

Works very well. I was tempted to try the gel but, if its not broke...This is my third Glovemate pad. Easy to use, doesn't make your hand warm, like padded gloves, and lasts a long time. I play doubleheaders 3 nights a week 8 months a year and 1 night a week in the winter. My first glovemate lasted probably 3-4 years before the stitching went and the pad came loose. The velcro eventually stopped working on my most recent pad. No bone bruises and it never effects catching the ball.

So far so good. I took a line drive to first base and got a bone bruise in my hand. I couldn't even play catch after that. I ordered the Glovemate and this seems to stop the sting as it protects the parts of the hand that bruised. Simple idea but it works wonders.

Helps to reduce sting from catching balls. Wish an elastic or leather string were included to loop and connect the product to the glove when not in use.It would also be better if the product covered a greater surface area of the hand.It is difficult to find this product for the right hand.Do not use this product under batting gloves when hitting; it will reduce the life of the foam sponge, which will separate from the adhesive backing.

This stop the sting product is absolutely the best and only product I will ever use to save my hand when playing baseball. I am a high school first baseman and catch lots of balls every day. My sister plays softball and her hand was sore so my dad bought her this product. She liked it so much that I borrowed it from her and now I won't give it back. Dad went and bought her a new one. Several of my team mates went to the Glovemate website and bought one too. My hand never hurts and I don't even feel it when it's on my hand except now there is no sting... It's great!
