It is so much easier to use than a big hammer, quite heavy for it's size, fits my small hand. Why did i assume "girl tools" would not be as functional? And the pink maybe helps not have guys run off with it. i recommend, and there's a choice of colors if pink isn't your thing.

I bought this to use in my classroom and I love it. It has a nice weight to it, not flimsy at all. Feels good in your hand. Now I’m looking for things to fix! Great tool for the price.

Good weight distribution in a compact tool.

I always keep a multitool in my Tacoma for whatever needs might arise while I'm out and about, but I recently found myself in desperate need of a hammer and my multitool had everything but one. I decided I never wanted to be without one again, but didn't want t full size hammer either, so I found and bought this one. It's perfect! I am a professional dog handler and I take groups of dogs pack hiking in the mountains around the Salt Lake valley every day, no matter the weather. I'm often out of cell phone range and just need to be able to get myself out of whatever pickles I might get into on any given day. I have peace of mind now knowing that I have all my tool bases covered and everything fits easily inside my glove box. This is a very small but very sturdy little hammer and is perfect for keeping in a car or even in my hiking backpack if I were to go camping. I've used it a few times now for a variety of things and I can definitely recommend!I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else! And yes, I paid full price for it. I’ve got all kinds of normal hammers, special hammers, etc, but this is my go to hammer more than any others, you’ll never regret getting this hammer. Get two so your wife will leave yours alone.

I sell a screen protector system in my store called ProtectionPro -- one of the selling points is that it's so durable that it can take a hit from a full size hammer! We were definitely testing it with a full size hammer, but we found that a full size 16oz hammer looked awkward to test with and it was difficult to hit the screen with full force and still hit it head on -- if we were to hit it at any kind of angle, the screen would definitely break, because, you know, physics and stuff -- so it has to be a direct hit. We found that the smaller 8oz hammer still allowed for a hard enough hit to impress customers without looking excessive or ridiculous.If that's not your intended use, which I assume it's not, it's definitely strong enough to hit a nail in for, say, hanging a picture or whatnot. It's not intended for a carpenter obviously. The spot on the top for holding a nail is definitely underrated -- it's magnetic and will hold the nail so you don't have to hold it and hit it! Definitely nifty!This is a great value for the money, it fit the bill for what we needed, and I think if you're looking at a hammer this small, you already know what it can and can't do -- more than enough for small nails, not for building a treehouse though. LOL. Five stars!

The media could not be loaded.  My parents had a hammer similar to this and I really liked the idea of a shorter hammer that still had the weight behind it to allow for a strong impact. When I started searching for one, this one popped up in the list and had the features I was looking for plus more. I really like the ergonomic grip - very comfortable. I was skeptical of the magnet on top to start nails, but was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. The weight is perfect- not too heavy and definitely not light weight. The price was low enough to entice me to buy 2 (one for our camper emergency kit and one to keep in the house).

Wow it is exactly as I expected, a great little hammer and it arrived fast.First let me say this is a stubby hammer its smaller then a normal hammer.. so if your looking for somthing with more leverage this isn't the hammer for you..Its handle is short and fits very comfortable in the hand it's a little heavy but it wouldn't be much of a hammer if it didnt have some weight to itThere is also a small hole at the bottom of the handle to put a wrist lanyard,Carabiner Hook, or just a rope strand this could be used to secure it to the outside of your pack or for easy access to the toolI bought this to help set up my tent on camping trips but ultimately it will end up in my urban survival tool bag with a handful of framing nails [never know if you need to board up doors and windows]Feeling it in my hand I have no doubt this hammer can be used for self defense as well[But really what can't be]Bring on the zombies or the occasional pictures to be hung

No dislikes.It’s a nice design. I can get into small places. For tapping in nails to hang photos, put together a preformed shelf, and general household tasks. Its perfect.I also like the nail starter in its head. Brilliant idea for those little nails.And it’s the right size and weight for my wife’s little hand.

Bought to use to put Ikea furniture together. Decent. Did the trick. Easy to store.
