No Reason to Keep the Points and Condenser
This was an upgrade for the engine in my Kit Car. I was going to go to electronic ignition anyway, so I just pulled the trigger early. This got the car running, but the instructions aren't very good. Good thing I have had to set time on engines before, because it wouldn't start with their procedure.

Could not set the timing
Purchased 1st one and it fried the module, returned it Purchased again and it ran like crap went back to flamethrower with vac advance, runs great now...purchased a fuel pump carborator but the problem ended up being the distributor....waste of time and money

Excellent 009 Distributor
Excellent quality distributor. Installed it on a 1915cc dual port with a single 44mm HPMX carb. The car ran so smooth after I replaced an older defective distributor. Very impressed with the quality of this distributor for the price.

Back to point and condenser
Good physical shape, when installed it worked perfect, however once the car heats up the module starts to misfire. I had to get back to points and condenser

So far so good..ok so i have had tis in my VW bus now for months and it ia still working awesome
Works as it should I haven't run it for very longbut it seems fine...decent value if it continues the way it is now
