Dell Chromebook 3120 Laptop Computer Intel Dual Core 4GB RAM 16GB SSD WiFi HDMI (Renewed)

I wasn't sure about this and it was dead when I received it. Had to charge along time , literally a couple days. Than it was good to go. I did call support 1-800 # they sent card with laptop which stated 24 hour customer support. No answer and a message when you call number. An no response from them, Amazon customer service was amazing with their help. So laptop I've only had the charging issue but once charged its been fine, I've had for 2 months or more. Their customer service is non existence or so it seems. I would purchase another refurbished one I'm not sure if I'd use this company due to customer service.

This one is going back! I needed an inexpensive Chromebook for a Ham Radio project and I like Dell so this seemed like a good deal. It is a low end Chromebook so I expected it to be slow and have low storage capacity. Both of those are true and I was willing to work around them. I normally steer clear of "refurbished" equipment unless I am very familiar with the seller but I took a chance on this one.What I didn't expect is that it would arrived damaged. Please look at the photos. At one point it had been dropped hard on the right rear corner so who knows what other internal damage still exists. (That's why I got the extended warranty.) It was shipped in bubble wrap in a plastic envelope so I don't know if the damage occurred during shipment or if it was sent that way. The box I sent it back it offers VASTLY more protection than the envelope the seller shipped it in.But it still worked so I was willing to live with it until I attempted to install some Android software from the Google Play Store. I can't! Seems this laptop is so out of date that it hasn't been eligible for updates since September 2021. As a result I cannot load anything from the play store and almost two years of security and system updates cannot be loaded. I didn't see anything in the description that warned about this so I am returning the laptop for a refund.The description reads "This product is in "Excellent condition". The screen and body show no signs of cosmetic damage visible from 12 inches away." Look at the photos: you can see that damage from 12 FEET away. And, naturally, I have to pay return postage which will be about half what I paid for it.Beware when you see a computer "deal" on Amazon that features a "renewed" product unless security and functionality is unimportant to you. This seller, "Tech Magnet" is now on my permanent "NEVER AGAIN" list of sellers on Amazon.

For the most part, the computer software is well refurbished as new. Fully functional, battery life is great, screen quality and clarity are absolutely exceptional. Is a touch screen but I believe some people didn't receive one that was. Does come with a charger and packaged well for protection. Mine did come with some minor external defects (such as a few minor scratches, very small cracks, etc...) but nothing a little case can't hide. Connects well with any wifi, runs exceptionally well, already has some Google software installed (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc...), Only minor issue that wasn't a full 5 stars for me was the Camera quality. I troubleshot via a Zoom meeting and the camera quality was absolutely dreadful but I don't often have video meetings which is good. But again for the overall price point, this is definitely a steal in my opinion.

I was so excited to receive it. Let down after I put the product service code in and it says this is the last available update for this device. I should have figured there was something wrong when it was under 100 bucks. Anyways probably going to refund it and get another somewhere else

Delivery was great and product was great.

I received my Dell chromebook took it inside plugged it in let it charge up powered it up I see a message on screan it said chrome os missing or damaged please incert recover repair for repair missing I can't move mouse on screan or type just changed language nothing else. Update it's bine a few days the laptop still stuck on same screen the insurance I bought with the dumb laptop won't do anything about it this purchase and the insurance was a total waste so upset
