Eat Like a Gilmore: The Unofficial Cookbook for Fans of Gilmore Girls

I would recommend this cookbook for any Gilmore Girl - Girl or Boy! A Must! Absolutely fabulous recipes that will definately make you feel like you're eating like a Gilmore Girl! I now own both cookbooks by Kristi Carlson! What a gr8 idea to bring all the recipes into 1 & now 2 cookbooks! My favorite recipes are the Cherry Danish, Pot Roast, Sookie's famous Risotto (w/the correct wine paring, of course), the Fiesta Burger, Lobster Puffs, Tacos, & homemade Pop Tarts! Oh, & the red velvet cake & all the fruit pie recipes from Luke's Diner! There's the Raspberry Peach Jam recipe, Chinese & Pizza recipes! & all the booze recipes! "Hooch is hooch!" All fabulicious!!! I'm definately a Gilmore Girl @ heart! And more books the better!! XO

This was a gift actually from my mother (who hilariously accidentally used my Amazon account to order it instead of hers) and we are avid Gilmore Girls fans. This cookbook is adorable and so well thought out. The people who put this together really spent good time and energy into making this perfect with research of the correct methods for certain recipes and making sure to add in details for fans. It was like experiencing the show from a new perspective and as a lover of cooking/baking this was the perfect meeting of the minds for me. They is also an awesome section on drinks which includes a recipe for founder's day punch that looks like it'll knock off anyone's socks and the perfect martini as well as some fun nonboozy options which I thought was really great since many cookbooks no longer have those types of sections in them and the show did have a lot of different drinks in it. Overall this cookbook is awesome but for any GG fans this is an absolute necessity.

This book would make a great gift for any Gilmore lover in your life. I had it on my wish list and bought it for myself when it went on sale. I was delighted to read through the book when I received it, but quickly realized a lot of it is not very practical. I love to cook and I am not afraid of anything labor intensive, however, I do try to cook lean. I assumed there would be many junk food type items in this book, but was disappointed to see that recipes that could be made healthfully were made somewhat needlessly unhealthy (for example, soup). If you like to eat healthy, I don’t recommend this book.

I love this cookbook! While I realize that not every recipe from the show made it into the book, there is such an amazing variety and I appreciate that they explain which episode the recipe was used in. The backgrounds, pictures, and categories (Luke's/Sookie's/Emily's/Town Favorite) all give it a unique, but at the same time nostalgic feel. This really is the perfect cookbook for fans, but also for someone who wants a book with a variety of recipes. I like it because there aren't a dozen one one kind of thing like most cookbooks. You get your basics like Luke's french toast or pancakes, but then some of Sookie or Emily's more complicated recipes as well, so it's a good go to cookbook when I'm wanting to try something new or just craving Luke's grilled cheese. Can't wait to try out all of the recipes!

It took me an embarrassingly long time to "bite the bullet" and buy this book. And I'm so glad I finally did! I've known about this cookbook since the kickstarter and had decided that it was probably a novelty item that would sit on my shelf and collect dust but the recipes never be made. Now that I have a copy in my hand I wish I had purchased it during the kickstarter as there are so many recipes I can't wait to dig into! As a humongous Gilmore Girl fan this cookbook is awesome and amazing! If you are hesitant in purchasing this book here's a review telling you "don't hesitate any longer!" You'll be thrilled with your purchase!

I bought this for my best friend for Christmas, as we are die-hard GG fans. I love the way many recipes are broken down to take 2 approaches: the Sookie way and the Lorelei way (the latter, of course, includes shortcuts and take out). So many recipes are tied to the episodes (Founder's Day Punch, anyone?). When my friend opened it, we went through together and talked about the episodes and which recipes we would want to use for different events. It's a great gift to give the GG fan in your life because it's an experience, a memory, and provides something fun to do and try together!

O livro é muito bonito, e as receitas são ótimas. É muito divertido fazer alguma receita e reconhecer a comida depois em algum episódio da série. Foi um presente para minha mãe, que também é fã, e ela amou! Nossa receita preferida é sem dúvidas a panqueca de abóbora.

Ho comprato questo libro per fare un regalo ed è stupendo. Ci sono moltissime ricette divise per argomento e personaggio che le cucina (Luke, Sookie). Il libro ha la copertina in cartoncino, liscia al tatto, le pagine sono in carta resistente e lucida. Questa versione è scritta in inglese.

Me gusto, se me hizo muy curioso. La calidad del libro es nuy bonita. Las recetas me gustaron y trae toda la información necesaria. Para fans de gilmore girls.

Als Gilmore Girl - Fan genau das Richtige! Einfach nur schön, die Rezepte hinter den verschiedenen Gerichten und Getränken aus Gilmore Girl vor sich zu haben. Das Buch wurde in die unterschiedlichen Location unterteilt, z.b Luke's, Sookie, Lorelei und Rory, Emily, usw. was super ist. iIch weiße gar nicht was ich dazu noch sagen soll, ich finds einfach nur der Hammer! Ich hab's zu Weilhnachten verschenkt und werde für mich auch noch eines bestellen.
