Car battery charger
Very happy with this. Easy read clear display gives info you don’t normally get on a charger. Solid but compact, I like the extra lead that screws to the car, so you don’t have to use the croc clips, it’s a simple plug socket arrangement that can’t be connected the wrong way, even has an inline fuse for extra safety

Very easy to use!
A very well made and well design at first I thought it maybe slightly too small and slightly off on the side of less powerful than expected but in fact it was actually perfectly fine for my car battery just after looking at the voltage of my car battery I realised that it would do a fantastic job now after looking at this design he does look like an old school radio but everything else in the functions are perfectly fine it looks great and it looks very simple and easy to use too haven't had an issue with it hasn't caused any problems apart from the fact that what would be convenient or would have been convenient is that if it came with a little backpack or a little bag to carry it around because then it will be of great benefit and use but other than that to be honest it looks good and it's simple to use and I think that's one of the most important things simplicity when it comes to things like this because no one wants to be waiting around especially if the cause just died from a battery flood and having to figure out how to use a car battery charger is a very handy tool to have and I feel like this is one of the most reasonable priced ones so obviously the bigger the car the bigger the battery so you'll have to consider the fact that your battery might not be the right size but he goes up to 24 volts of energy that he can provide for a battery so if your battery is bigger than 24 volts you will have a struggle to charge it but other than that material that's used to made it feel solid and rock but I do feel that if you do drop it might break so you've got to be really careful with this other than that I mean it does a great job and there's nothing negative I can say about it. I definitely recommend it for the price.

Great little charger
For the money this really is a very good SMART charger. You can use it to charge 6V batteries up to 15Ah and 12V batteries of various types - lead acid, GEL, AGM etc, up to 100Ah. It can be attached to the battery using the two supplied crocodile clips, or you can permanently attach the accessory cable that has metal loops to bolt onto the terminals. This is probably the easiest method, because all you need to do is push in the connector plug from the charger when you need to use it.You can safely use this charger with the battery in situ if you use the trickle charge function, and because it has a maximum output of 5 Amps, you can also leave the battery in situ as long as you allow plenty of ventilation, and check it from time to time. If in any doubt though, always try to disconnect the terminals, and if possible remove the battery when using the 5Amp option.Because it is a SMART charger it analyses the battery, and then conditions it before charging. If there is a battery issue, the charger display will indicate this. The display also shows current charge rate, battery level, mode, and type of battery being charged. It's every bit as good as SMART chargers costing a lot more money. It might lack the usual flashing LED indicators, but you really don't need them, and it performs really well. For the money, I think it's a bargain, and a really useful item to carry around in the car, or have at home.

Small compact charger
This is a nice sized charger with both crocodile clips and crimped lugs. The croc clips allow a quicker connection to a battery, though less secure. The lugs make a secure fixing using the existing bolted connection on the car battery. The outlet cables feel secure when swapping between both types. After switching on, the display is crisp and displays Auto and 6v which can be switched to 12v by hitting the mode button. Further pushing the mode button selects AGM(absorbent glass mat) not a battery type I have. When first connecting to a suspected low battery, the indicator displays the voltage. At this point the type of charge can be selected. Trickle charge mode allows a gradual charge to prevent damaging the battery. I used the constant current to maximise the power output to boost my battery and get the car back on the road. I tried to start the car during work, and the car fired at the first time of asking. Another good feature if using a long slow charge is that if after 20 hours there is no discernible increase in voltage, the charger is meant to shut down. I haven’t had to test this yet.

Ideal for trickle charging long term stowage in a garage of a bike or car, plus normal charging
6V 15AHr and 12V 100AHr batteries or lower capacities can be charged with this smart charger of the Lead-Acid, AGM, GEL, Flooded or Maintenance free types. That makes this charger extremely useful to have in a workshop or garage for its charging abilities. what sets this apart from other types is the ability to have this as a permanently connected trickle charger so if you have a Bike or Vehicle that is put away for the winter months then this is ideal to keep the vehicle powered and battery fully charged during that time. It is a very good charger with easy settings, decent instructions that are clear, it has a design that makes it spark free, short circuit protected, overheating protection, reverse polarity protection. Maximu charge currents ae 1.5A for the 6V types and 5A for the 12V types. Overall this is a great bit of robust kit that I highly recommend, Andrew

Cheap and cheerful charger.
First impressions are a light weight plastic, poorly made charger. The unit has a cheap feel to it, and I’m sure would soon break if dropped or knocked.Comes with crocodile clips, again not great quality, these would pop on to the battery terminals and you’d plug the unit in to the mainsThe display shows voltage, current, temperature, battery capacity, which seemed to be accurateI used this on a go-cart battery which had been standing for sometime due to the lockdown etc, thought it would do it know harm to give it a charge, the charger worked fine, it was slow but did charge the battery. If you’re after a cheap charger, this is okay, build isn’t great, worked okay, but I don’t see this lasting long if used often.
