Works as designed, pay attention to installation
Just did the installation of these isolators on my garage door openers, and the process is fairly straightforward. If you remove the old brackets with the opener supported with a ladder, then add the isolators, and adjust the brackets to brace the isolators to the opener, the common complaints listed by others become a non-issue. This is because the isolator and bolts are effectively pins to keep the opener elevated (no through bolt required). I agree threadlock doesn’t hurt here, but frankly a second nut is just as effective.Noise level of my garage doors are cut by more than half… so not dead quiet but significantly more tolerable.

These work if installed correctly
These work, noise is reduced to almost nothing at the bedroom above the garage. You are suspending a heavy vibrating motor on rubber isolators that are installed on shear so please be careful. They may pop out if not supported. After I installed 2, the isolators twisted and since they are just compressed rubber at the mounting bolts, over tightening them will shear off the rubber. I added a diagonal brace to each side of the opener to install 4 instead of 2 isolators. The 4 isolators made the install much more stable (no more twisting) and they can handle the weight of the motor long term. I added 1.5” X 5/8” washers to both sides of the isolators to help the bolts inside press against the rubber. I added locking washers to prevent the nuts from unscrewing without over tightening. And lastly I added a rubber bungee cord to help take some of the load off the isolators and provide extra insurance. To reduce the noise inside the garage I installed Noico (same as Dynamat) inside the opener housing.

Mini split added protection
Better vibration control on a new mini split the ones the bracket came with was a joke and broke down in a few months , these help a lot with vibration start and stop with the compressor that's mounted on the side of the house esp with a wooden frame ... Unfortunately when the mini split runs on heat it's a bit more loud and these cut down on the transfer of sound to the inside of the house
