Pro Audio Stage Recessed Floor Box with 110v Electric and XLR Connections (6 XLR, Pre Wired)

Since my original purchase of this six XLR connector box I have purchased two pre-wired four connectors, another six pre-wired connector and a four (non wired) box. These things are tough for sure. They are in our stage at church and when the stage is being used for other purposes these get walked all over and have never given an inch. BUT WHAT I LOVE is the pre-wiring. Talk about simple! We bought the "extension" chords to run under the stage and into our snake. Drop the box in, click the extensions in place and your done! Sound quality is as though they were direct connected. I don't just recommend these - I highly recommend them!

When high quality microphone cables are plugged into the top row the cover does not fully lay flat. There is not enough room for the cable to make a non-crimping bend after exiting the plug's strain relief.Anphinol male XLR with ~6mm rubber jacketed cable. Surprised to see one of the six female ends was plastic instead of metal like the other five, on two of the five recessed floor boxes that I ordered as those were replaced for being defective?
