ALIVER Silicone Scar Removal Sheets, 1.6''x60'', 4 Washable Reusable Scar Treatment Sheets, 3''x1.6''

I ran out of my CVS brand scar strips which I loved and ordered these since it was available same day via Prime. I put it on while working and kept noticing a weird, almost chemical odor. One of those smells you can almost to taste like burning motor oil. Once I realized it was the strip I thew it away and never tried them again. Seemed to stick OK but I didn't wear it more than an hour tops.

This tape literally did nothing. I used it for weeks and saw no improvement. Purchased this to help get rid of my surgery scars but unfortunately this was no help. Exactly how long does it take to see results? The tape started to lose its adhesion and fall off. Highly unimpressed and would not recommend. So disappointed

Hade surgery last month and the scare is gone.

This kit includes four scar patches that measure 3" x 1.6" each. These patches can be cut to whatever size you need. These patches can be used on new scars once incisions are totally healed. They can also be used on old scars. I just started using these on a scar on my wrist from surgery for a fractured wrist.These silicone sheets are a light beige skin color and have a reusable adhesive on one side. The other side is totally smooth. The adhesive is not oily, sticky, gooey, or messy, yet it adheres very well to clean, dry skin. The scar sheet should be removed every day so that you can clean under it. In fact, the entire piece can be taken off, washed as needed, air dried, and then reapplied. This will actually make it stick better again. How exactly it adheres, I'm not sure.The back of the package shows directions for how long you should wear these scar sheets each day. Hopefully, you can read the directions, as there was a label stuck over them. Fortunately, I was able to peel off the label easily.I cannot really say at this time how effective these scar sheets are. I have just recently begun using them. However, I do mark reviews like this on my calendar so that I can return in 6-8 weeks to update or change the review as needed.At this point, I will start by giving this product 4 stars, as I have read good things about silicone scar sheets in general. I will return to update my review in late October.

I took a tumble on my electric kick scooter. Got scrapes on my elbow and knee. I was concerned that I'd keloid up a bit so I applied these scar sheets and wore them regularly for about three weeks. Definitely changed the way scars heal on my body. While there is a bit of discoloration, the skin is very level with the nearby skin. Not 100% identical (still a bit smoother perhaps) but very close.I've recommended these to EVERY person with scrapes and scars. Should be a standard part of all wound healing.Recommended.

These Silicone Scar Removal Sheets do seem to be making my new scar flatter and less noticeable. I recently had 4 stitches removed. I would warn again using the sheets until the wound is completely healed as the adhesive might pull the edges of the skin apart when removing the sheet.I've had less success with the Silicone Scar Removal Sheets on an old scar. Maybe I just need to give it more time? I don't know, but I'll try. However, the sheets are working on the new scar. I give these sheets a solid 4 stars.

The texture of this kind of feels like skin but velvety. I have noticed a really big, dark scar that I have has lightened in color and seems a bit smaller. I haven’t seen much of a difference in an old stretch mark though. I’d sticks to skin but can fall off easily if you cut it on the small side. Constant use does lessen the adhesion but they do say each sheet is only good for up to 2 weeks.

Silicone strips have a long history of toning down scars and making them flatter and more blended in with one's natural skin. I love how soft and comfortable and light they feel on my knee scar. It's too early to tell if in 1-2 months the difference these strips will make on my post surgical knee scar. Time will tell.
