This book was a snacking help to prepare my 7 year old son for a general anesthetic for an MRI. He spent lots of time in hospital as a baby and has had several surgeries over the years but as he is older now and h Derrane more about what is happening I wanted him to be part of the preparation. This book gave us a chance to talk about his feelings etc as well as being informative, I would highly recommend

Our just turned 4 year old had a procedure under general anesthetic yesterday and this book was honestly the best thing we could of got. She was so well prepared. She knew exactly was coming and was even holding the mask on her own face. All the staff in the anesthetic room were blown away and got their phones out to take pictures of the book. If your little one has a procedure coming up, I 100% recommend this book!

My grandaughter is 8 years old and this was her 2nd surgery the 1st she was too young to remember, but this was very good she loved it and put her mind to rest, her doctors and nurses thought it was very good also i would definitely recommend this book.

This book was so helpful when preparing our 3 year old for his operation. We read it a lot of times ahead of the operation and had it with us on the day. Everything in the book happened in real life which was super. My son didn’t get scared or freak out at any point and I think a lot of that was down to the prep we were able to do using this book.
