RadioShack IC Inserter/Extractor Set

Good set of IC extractors and insertion tools, they feel high quality and are made of metal. Surprised I could get some with Radioshack branding these days.

It basically works fine. Sometimes you have to bend the chip legs out a little so the chip will stay in place in the chip inserter. The chip extractor works well.

For the price you can not beat the value of this tool - if you are in need of something like this you can spend a LOT more and get a LOT less! Would recommend to anyone!

Bent the 'claws' of the IC puller trying to remove a stubborn DIP 28 chip. Definitely a tool only for occasional use. Ended up coaxing it part way out with a flatblade screwdriver and just using the puller to lift it off near the end.
