BOB Books SIGHT WORDS COLLECTION Book Box Set [Kindergarten & First Grade]

Our 5 year old’s reading is improving in leaps and bounds with these books! We read a minimum of three a day, so the variety in this pack is really nice. The difference in her confidence within one week of reading these has been completely worth the purchase. I also really enjoy the durable case for these books, as it helps keep them organized and protect them.

This is for my daughter's first grade class. She is the teacher and I volunteer every week to help her with the students.

This set is great although outdated... but it's great for homeschooolers

My kids really enjoyed these books. Because the pictures aren’t fully colored my 4 year old was excited to color them and then read them. The way the sight words are emphasized I believe will help the child notice the words and learn them.Overall it’s a good set of books and flash cards for our children’s education.

It gives kids a feeling of accomplishment to finish a book that they can read with very little help. It is so important to build confidence!The words are simple and in the same family of sounds so they build on each other. These are simple stories that are interesting enough to develop reading comprehension, build a simple “plot” then wrap up.I like BOB Books better tham Starfall books (which have much better pictures) because i think BOB books tell a more complete story. The starfall books leave me wondering about too many thinjs (i.e., why does a mole have a grappling hook and rope?).-1 star because the images are only 1 or 2 colors (including the black ink they are rendered with) and, while the pictures are consistent with the story, they are in no way interesting to look at.

I like best that these books come with flash cards for sight words. The sight word flash cards each have the picture and sentence from book. Easy for my son to learn.

Bob's books are great. 4 year old quickly started reading the whole book! We also use flash cards with the books to learn and reinforce the sight words. These books were highly recommended to me by teachers, and I now recommend them to you!

Purchased this set for my Preschooler. She is doing an online preschool and was struggling with sight words. They have already helped so much! I shared a photograph of what is included in the pack. The books have cute little doodles and the words are big and bold. Since starting these my 4 year old has burster in her reading vocabulary. She was struggling and now she looks forward to reading. She enjoys getting a sticker Everytime she accomplishes a new book/vocabulary word. We are looking into purchasing other sets of Bob books now. I'm so glad we stumbled across them.
