MR CARTOOL GPS Slope Meter Digital Inclinometer Car Speedeometer HUD Head Up Display for Off-Road Vehicles (M95, M95)

Got this for a 20-State road trip, crossing and recrossing multiple mountain ranges. LOVED IT! It was great for keeping track of our altitude, attitude, etc. I really wouldn't be without one, driving in high mountains. I don't use it as often, tooling around close to home in relatively flat Michigan, but it's still fun, and I may end up hard-wiring it into one of our vehicles (all hardware comes included.) It displays a lot of useful info. It also shines when you're trying to level the car, for car camping. It even looks cool!

I got this primarily for the inclinometer for leveling my motorhome at the camp site, but the other features are nice too. I doubt I'll ever go 40° in my motorhome, but if I do, the unit has a nice not so annoying beep letting me know I could be on the verge of tipping. The clock is handy as well (I don't have one on the dash), and the elevation lets me know if I need to adjust my engine timing for altitude (My motorhome is pretty old so I have to worry about things like that). Now for the things I don't like so much. The positioning uses China's Bai Dou constellation instead of GPS or GLONASS. As long as the unit doesn't have a "phone home" feature, this shouldn't be an issue. Chalk it up to my paranoia. I don't trust the government and the Chinese government much less so. Next is the dimming. There are only 2 settings and they are manually adjusted. Even the cheapest tablet has auto dimming these days, so I'm kind of confused as to why this is not a feature. The compass is a nice feature, but I wish it would give a readout in degrees. Lastly, the instructions are very short and not descriptive. Adjusting functions is extremely clunky and not intuitive imo. A few more buttons would have been nice. I'm still trying to figure out how to change from kph to mph.

At first I reviewed it worked one time and quit, well it's more like my brain worked one time during setup and stopped. I didn't remember or realize the on off button is on the cigarette lighter adapter. Mine is buried in a glove box bag and didn't notice i hit it everything I plugged it in. It really is a great product. I love all the features and I can see them while riding my RS1.

Great product! Too bulky to mount where I wanted ,easy fix if you split the case open to reveal the circuit board and screen. Some dremel trimming on your center console and you can mount it where you want it. Only two wires need to be tapped into a fused power source. Brought my '04 xterra into the modern ages with a factory equipped look .

I buy it mainly for the compass. I am uber driver and need to find direction as quickly as possible. This car compass have a lagging time at the beginning which render it unhelpful in most driving situation. Nowhere near the OEM buildin compass of the car nowaday. The elevation meter is on relative accurate. But I found it very helpful as it help is to notice the elevation change when driving. Overall. I feel that it not worth for me to have it occupied in my car.

2 brightness setting good for day and night driving all the gauges are accurate nice and loud alert beep reaching high speed and angle

The display on this is nice and bright and easy to read in the daylight. It seems to be pretty accurate as well. My one complaint is that the angle/tilt measurements are very 'jumpy'. They twitch around a lot even when the ATV is completely still but idling. It's not a deal killer, but it almost feels like it's sampling the tilt too often. The GPS works well and I like that you can adjust the speed up or down if it's off. This has been a nice addition to my Kubota RTV 900.

Nice unit Only thing that would make it better is if it had outside temperature I mounted in center compartment in dash Fit perfectly

Muy buen producto, cumple con las expectativas

Tengo un 4x4 preparado para rutas y este tipo de dispositivos son útiles para poder orientarte correctamente ya que tiene brújula + GPS y en mi caso me interesa saber la altitud cuando vamos a la montaña. Otra cosa importante y es que el Velocímetro de mi 4x4 no dice la velocidad real puesto que lleva unos neumáticos más grandes que los originales, así que tengo que estar pendiente de no excederme y salir "premiado" por la DGT y sus radares. Con este cacharro puedo saber bien la velocidad real en todo momento y ajustar. Otra cosa que me gusta, es que es muy sencillo de usar. Lo he conectado usando el enchufe de mechero y listo. Luego ajustar las preferencias es cuestión de darle al único botón y puedes seleccionar el idioma (no viene en español), unidades (kilómetros o millas) y colores de la pantalla entre otras cosas. Ojo, hay que tener paciencia para que fije la posición. Al no tener asistencia por Internet (como los móviles), le lleva alrededor de un minuto en ubicar suficientes satélites para darte la posición correcta (al aire libre y sin obstáculos). Una vez coge la señal las siguientes veces es un poco más rápido. La precisión es bastante, pude comparar con mi reloj Garmin y la diferencia era muy poca. Así que bien. La iluminación es más que suficiente para una visualización clara. Y tiene varias opciones de colores para que vaya a juego con otros relojes que puedas tener. Ahora voy a nombras las cosas que no me gustan mucho. Al sacarlo de su caja noté que tenía al suelto, se puede ver y escuchar en el video. No debería sobre todo porque estará todo el tiempo en movimiento y podría afectar su funcionamiento a largo plazo. No he querido desarmar nada porque está nuevo, pero ya veré en el futuro. Luego la carcasa no está bien acabada. Da la sensación de ser "barata", se nota mucho los bordes de las dos mitades. Luego el voltimetro está por debajo de la medida real unas 3 a 4 décimas, no es grave pero puede llegar a "asustar" y hacerte pensar que el alternador o la batería no están bien del todo. Hay otra cosa que más que no me guste es una advertencia para los demás conductores. El Inclinómetro no debe usarse para triales/cirtuitos 4x4 porque puedes confiarte y cometer un error que puede salir caro. Es muy sensible y cambia de valor muy rápido. Yo lo veo más como una información complementaria que una herramienta de conducción. Como conclusión, a pesar de los problemas, creo que sigue siendo un dispositivo útil, sobre todo para vehículos antiguos o de uso recreativo (4x4, quads, mountain bike, etc) y por el precio no se puede pedir mucho más.

Ich habe den Geschwindigkeitsmesser für mein Wohnmobil geordert . Beim Fiat Ducato kann man die Geschwindigkeit nur schwer ablesen . Ich hatte bisher zusätzlich eine Anzeige über OBD , leider hat die Fehler verursacht. Nun wollte ich was über GPS. Es dauert eine Weile und ein paar Kilometer aber dann zeigt es zuverlässig an . Ich habe auch 5 km/h Abweichung zur Anzeige meines Wohnmobils . Aber nur 1 wenn ich es mit Google Maps vergleiche . Die Einstellungen sind einfach zu bedienen . Verschiedene Modi möglich in der Farbe usw. Sprachen einige , kein deutsch . Macht aber nichts so viel gibt’s nicht einzustellen . Ich bin zufrieden . Steigung und Gefälle ist bei mir relevant wenn das Gelände zum stehen nicht gerade ist . So weiß ich wo ich die Keile unterlegen muss.
