Keeps our 24.5 ‘ boat from hitting the dock on a rough lake. Not cheap but worth the money.

Good product, but hardware is not included. I spent $24 at Lowes to install two of these. I bought #10 stainless steel screws and finishing washers to install. I found that if you hand screwed the screws through the material it did less damage to the product and worked great. Then Used the drill to attach the screws into the 4x4 post. This is the reason for four stars. I feel the description should note that hardware is not included.

I bought two for the skids on my boat lift and they are perfect. If they can handle the weight of a two thousand pound boat and constantly being submerged in lake water then I would bet they hold up just fine along a mostly dry dock edge. In fact now that I think about, maybe I need another one for my dock!

We have used this edging for a number of years on our dock and it has out lasted any other type that we have tried. It is very tough and holds up to the sun (UV light).

Great item 1’ longer than most

This is worth the price--especially the price online--but when screwing it in you have to be very careful not to put the screw on the thread line (which happens to be in the middle of the area were you put the screw!), or the thread will wrap up in the screw. This might not happen if you have a really fast drill. On the other hand, it happens fairly easily because you have to put in the screws upside down if you install it as shown (with the top flap folded in).Still, once it is in, it is great.
