This was to replace my old whisk It arrived very quickly so thank you It was good value for money as it was one of the cheapest hence no batteries included It performs really well whisks very fast milk green tea chocolate etc… you can use it for a multi purpose of drinks which taste better as it froths the milk really well for cappuccinos or lattes. The button on the top just keep pressed down to work so there’s no on/off switch. Very easy to clean just rinse in warm soapy water Very versatile to store in a draw doesn’t take up much room but if your looking for one with a stand in a cupboard or on work surface not this one.

It froths water and coffee. Anything more than that and it has a melt down and stops working. I tried it with hot chocolate and warm milk and it threw a wobbler and died. My partner changed the batteries and it seemed to work ok but after 10 seconds it caught the side of the jug and stopped working. I had to clean it under hot soapy water before it started again. It’s powerful when it gets going, but I’ve stopped drinking ice coffee now because it was knocking me sick, so my frother is having a winter holibobs in the drawer next to the bbq kebab sticks.

This arrived on Friday 13th September, I used it once for one cup of coffee that evening and then twice a day until Tuesday 17th where it got really slow. The next afternoon I tried it and it just failed to turn when the button was pressed. I put new batteries in and it seemed to be alright for another two cups of coffee and then slowed and got slower and slower until it packed up again. I tested the batteries and they were still putting out 1.5 volts each so I put them back in and it will turn now but as soon as I put the whisk in a 2 or 3cm of water it stops completely. I have recycled the box so it cannot be packed up to send it back in original packaging, but I will request a return and a refund. From all the reviews it looks like they have been supplied with a whole batch of these low quality whisks as the older reviews are all really good. It is always a shame when a small family business is let down by suppliers reducing the quality of their products. 23/09/2024 Amended review After trying 3 different brands of batteries I had a good look at how this works. The simple stop/go thumb switch just pushes a piece of metal above the + connection of the first placed battery (the one underneath of the 2 batteries). This is where the problem lies as forcing the bottom battery in bends the weak metal of the contact. I tried making this better by lifting the metal contact but it just bent back with the insertion of the battery. To overcome this I placed a very small round magnet on top of the metal contact and put the batteries back. Voila! It worked and is very fast when it is on and throws the milk right out of the frothing mug. If this simple switch is replaced in future models the positive reviews would really take off and this small family run company can regain their good reputation online.

Using this for a while now, hit and miss if the battery fits properly, as it keeps dislodging, also could do with a stand with it. Other then that it does froth.

Bought for post bariatric surgery so I could mix casein or collagen into drinks. Does an amazing job. It only broke because my husband put it in a sink full of dishes/water. So I’m buying another! Yes it is powerful - so you froth the milk first then add the coffee etc. to avoid it spinning straight out - it’s not rocket science. Or just do short burst so the centrifugal force doesn’t get too much!

I got this to replace one I purchased from a bargain shop. This whisk part is good quality and performs far better than the bargain basement one. The part you hold is plastic and the button you press on top is plastic but feels like it would last. Happy so far.
