5-Stars for helping me teach the firemen how to get me off the floor
Note: I have not used this yet but it's tentatively getting 5-stars for all that I imagine it will be.I'm big. No, bigger than that. Really big. There you go, you got it. ***I live mostly independently, but I'm a fall risk. I can't afford nor have space for a hydraulic lift. Some of the first responders are okay, and some want to get into it all with me with questions, demands, arguing logistics of the lift. BUT I KNOW how to get me up to a seat or standing position and yet they still wanna fight. And both times this past year, they didn't have their transfer sheet like this and I'd had to walk them through it until they called around to find it. No one seemed to know what I was talking about. Then they're not sure it's weight rated for me, etc. All the while, my tiny home is flooded with first responders with medical authority which is making me go batty because of PTSD and I'm on the floor in pain, being very grumpy, and getting close to having a panic attack -- and can't get up until they pull it together. So I found this listing on Amazon with 1500 weight rating (wow!!), and a ton of handles. It now sits at the door with a binder labeled to get first responder attention should I be incapacitated. It says what it is and gives a tutorial. If I'm conscious and just need a lift onto a chair or bed, I can speed up the process by telling them where to find it and what to do.And if I should end up with it going to the hospital with me, and it gets lost, then the price point it sells for on here means I can pick up another soon (on my fixed income) and my lost one can be considered a donation to the city's first responders since it seems like they only have ONE as it is now.So thank you to whomever manufactures and sells this product. I can't say I'm looking forward to the next time I fall, but I can laugh about that thought at least.*** in case you're interested:I have an actual congenital (born with it) painful fat disorder called lipedema with secondary lymphedema (often the two together are called lipolymphedema). This has grown to affect my arms, abdomen, side/upper hip, groin, down to my feet.My tissues are inflamed, I have huge and growing masses of lymphatic fluid filled areas, I have pockets of diseased fat in all these areas that are painful.I have extremely painful nerve involvement and a deteriorating spine that causes more extreme pain and/or nerve entrapment.

Patient Transfer Blanket
The patient transfer blanket is now a part of my home safety emergency kit. The transfer blanket is well made and is rated to handle up to 1,000 lbs. A family member had an adverse reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine and developed syncope and CHF. I was having to use sheets and rugs to assist with lifting after falls. I found this item on-line and decided to order. It is sturdy, quality material, sewn well, very practical, and is a Godsend in supporting and lifting anyone when a fall occurs. Can be easily be cleaned and could be used to assist in lifting equipment that is heavy and/or awkward.

Extremely poor quality
Ripped the 1st time we used it with a 220lb patient. One would expect better quality, nobody could ever comfortably lay on it, the material is harsh on the skinHighly not recommended

Great for a larger patient
Great for a large tall patient. I'm disabled and a fall risk and, also, quite a bit overweight. I purchased this because I've been having trouble getting into bed. It certainly works as it should. However, I'm only 5'4" making it almost as long as my body. Plus, the size causes it to be bulky and unwieldy. It'll certainly help any patient when there are a couple of attendants/care people.
