It does have some amazing looking recipes, however I was really disappointed there is only about ten phots in the whole book, and those are unclear and black and white. For a new soap maker this makes things even more difficult to learn from. Instructions are also not the best.

I already own a few soapmaking books, but I was really attracted to this one due to the shear number of recipes in it. And, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and scope of soap found in Sandra Winfield's e-book "124 Natural Soapmaking Recipes and Cookbook ".After a brief introduction, the book jumps right into the recipes. There are sections on hot and cold process, and melt and pour method soaps. The other sections begin with basic recipes and then move onto intermediate and advanced concoctions. More steps or advanced processes earmark these later sections.I found the layout of the book made it easy to read and follow. Boldface type, two colors and numbered steps helped. Each section began with a good quality photograph of some interesting soap bars. Photographs do not accompany each recipe, however.Many soap flavors like Chocolate Mint, Pumpkin Souffle, or Coffee Scrub made me hungry. But other recipe names like Galaxy and Fireworks:o made me curious. Even Extra Lather, Basic Shaving and Pumice are represented.This book did not strike me as a total beginner soapmaking title as there is no separate review of equipment, ingredients or sources. Some of the ingredient quantities do appear to require measuring devices with fine accuracy. The quantities are very specific.But armed with this book, I can make plenty of basic or exotic soaps for myself or as gifts!

The recipes are ok but the pictures are black and white and it looks like a copy of an original book. Now, it depends what you buy it for. Recipes or pictures.

Easy to follow I would have given it a five star but no photos nor list of what kind of items you need. Woukd gift it for sure

This is a nicely planned out book that gives exact directions on how to make soap. There are a few chapters on making honey soap, honey soap is good for moisture. I wish she had said what a blender stick is sense it is in every recipe.There were some really good pictures of made soaps that are very colorful. I wished there were more pictures. Some were very good at the directions on how to add color and to design the bars.It is complete with melt and pour recipes. I liked the chocolate mint and pumpkin pie soaps full of fragrance. The candy corn soap is also very interesting. I really liked the chocolate cinnamon soap, that's my favorite flavor! If you want a big book with exact step-by-step comprehensive directions on exactly how to make all different kinds of soaps, this is your book!

I think I literally bought this book hot off the presses so that was very nice but the content is fantastic! I was searching for a book with a hefty amount of great soaping recipes and I got it!Every page is full, back-to-back great content, which is so beneficial for any level of soaper out there! A must buy.I would suggest more photos and less relyance on Brambleberry’s ready mix melt and pour ingredients… kinda rides on Anne-Marie’s coat-tails a bit. Otherwise, I love this book and its price!

Arrived on time and packaged well. I would of liked if the book had a few more photos in it. The images it does have are in black and white. Wished it had color images to showcase the soap better. Also, being new to making cold process soap I wished there was a section that focused on some of the ingredients that can be added to the oil mix. I didnt recognize a lot of them and had to stop to search them out online. Wouldn't recommend for beginners. Once I am better at making this soap I may reference this book for the recipes.

É um livro com muitas páginas e desnecessárias. Uma letra enorme que não faz qualquer sentido, e em termos fotográficos, ficou muito a desejar: a fotos não são a cores. Quando se compra um livro deste género, por norma as fotos são a cores pois tonam-se são mais apelativas. Fiquei com ele apenas pela variedade de receitas, mas foi uma desilusão.
