They are very pigmented , brilliant colours. Affordable , you will find every colour in the cardboard box you will ever need . They are dryer as polychromos or arteza ,better than so many other pencils from the lower price range. Don’t forget the colour journey are Staedtlers affordable artist line. I never got debris on my paper with them. So , no smudges , really soft , mix incredible well , and layer ,and layer ,and layer........ only to change the pressure ever so lightly you can achieve amazing shadow effects. The only let down is this cardboard box. I filled mine in a pencil box. For ones also not something Chinese made with a horrible chemical stench which is never going away no matter how long the box stays open ,to get rid of the smell. They smell only woody and “schoolish” like my Goldfaber and Staedtler 60 years a go in every (child’s school bag) classroom in Germany . They are perfect for adult colouring books. Sadly there is no mention about their colour fastness. Also I had no breakage , the need less sharpening than any faber castell there is nothing to “ not like “ on this pencils . Apart from the box, but who keeps colouring pencils in a cardboard box.

É macio, tem uma pigmentação suave e é ótimo se você só quer uma boa variação de lápis para colorir por hobby. Mas, se você procura algo mais profissional, pra fazer várias camadas e tal... Aí já não recomendo.Antes de usar, repare na folha. Se tiver leve textura, vai ficar mais bonito. Se for muito lisa, vai ter uma finalização meio marcada. Não pintei fazendo força. Nas fotos dá pra ver bem: na foto da flor, o papel é aquele amarelado, pólen. Na foto da bonequinha, é um papel branco liso, tipo offset.Eu gostei, deu pra fazer um degradê bonitinho. Vou usar quando for pintar qualquer coisinha ou para fazer sketch.

I haven't coloured in with pencils since I was a kid so I'm a complete noob but here's what I thought:Likes:1. They've converted me from colouring in with Staedtler pens to pencils.2. Loads of colours (some are very similar).3. Sharpen easily.4. Seem to layer nicely.Dislikes:1. It's really hard to get the pencils out of the box so I needed to purchase a pencil case, in hindsight I probably should have gone for the pencils with the tin with the removable trays which was slightly cheaper but this product had better reviews.

These pencils are extremely easy to use, highly pigmented and fantastic to blend. I've used Faber Castell Polychromos, and prefer the Staedtler. Lovely colours, blending is easy, and cheap as well. I'll be using these as my primary pencils from now on.

These are the best pencil brand I have ever used. I have brought the 24 and 32 pack from the STAEDTLER 185 Noris range but wanted more colours to work with. I saw these and was dubious about buying them as I knew the pencils I liked, but so glad I did buy these, not only do I get more colours but same quality I'm used to. Would highly recommend these pencils to anyone who loves colouring over the age of 13+ I wouldn't buy these for my youngest who's 6 or my eldest who's 11 as they have a habit of dropping pencils or over sharpening their pencils, but as they get older they will get to experience these too.
