Not teng quality !
I'm a big fan of Teng stuff but this just doesn't make the grade , the M6 tap broke the first time I used it and that was only cleaning an existing thread after powder coating !

Nice box goes with all my other teng tools
Iv used few of the taps mostly the smaller ones and there strong enough as long as you use them right. Nice box goes with all my other teng tools.

Teng 17 Piece Tap and Die Set
I thought that I had purchased a quality item manufactured by Teng.I brought it to have it on the shelf should I need a Tap and Die SetThe first time I used a "die" I was somewhat surprised to find that the relevant "die" did not replicate the metric thread pattern of a corresponding nut. It was a very inferior piece of equipment. This morning I used a 6mm tap in some mild steel and I was astounded to find that the tap had been rounded during the operation and it had not cut even a hint of a thread, it was softer that mild steel. The tap was rounded and had not cut anything. This kit is possibly the worst thing that I have ever purchased. I can only assume that it is a product that is counterfeit. The whole episode is compounded by the fact that I cannot establish who supplied this kit, it is supplied by "Amazon"Possibly the worst thing I have ever received and at £50 I would have expected much better from a well respected name such as Teng, this is probably not a Teng product.
