Light and aromatic
I'm not a tea expert, but this Darjeeling has a good scent dry (a little bit mild), and a good sweet, flowery flavor when brewed. This tea does NOT brew into a dark, malty color but remains transparent and light. This is a delightful tea and I'm glad it's organic as well. The leaves are as shown, large and curled, and don't fall out of a mesh tea ball.

Very disappointed
I first started ordering this tea in May, 2023. It was a joy watching the tea leaves unfurl while steeping. The taste of the brew was wonderful, although the tea liquor lacked body. Impressed with the overall quality, I signed up for the “Subscribe and Save” option for this tea. Each subscription package tasted worse than the one before, lacking flavor. The liquor started tasting really cheap, weak, and flavorless. The bags of tea in the final shipment, delivered in January, 2024, did not contain leaves at all. These last few bags were dust and stems only. Pre-“Subscribe and Save”, 1 heaping teaspoon of leaves per 12 oz of water was enough. This last batch, 3 heaping teaspoons for the same volume of water is still not enough. I have cancelled my subscription, and am truly disappointed at the questionable business practices of this seller. My trust in the seller’s quality control of products offered at a meager discount in lieu of a subscription was indeed misplaced!

Decent considering the price
This is a decent Darjeeling tea. It has a nutty and rather light flavor profile, not very complex overall. Flavor-wise this is a low-end Darjeeling, but the price is very reasonable. Comparing this tea to high grade Darjeelings would not be fair, considering many Darjeelings cost twice as much or more. If you are not willing to pay that, this is a decent alternative.

Love the taste
Love this tea! We are religious tea drinkers and have been drinking the bag teas for years now. Tried many loose leaf teas and finally came upon this one. It’s a bit expensive, but it’s organic and the taste is wonderful- a slight nutty and sweet taste.

Non-Tea Snob Review
Thank Heaven for the Tea Snobs who gave this delicious tea a nasty review. The quality and value of this tea reguardless of harvest date or which cut or .... Whatever ..... was perfectly alright with me. So happy to be alive after risking consumption after reading the Tea Snobs review . ;-) I have set up my auto delivery for every month so I never run out of this delicious poison. Tastes like a pretty good quality Darjeeling Tea to me. But.... What the heck do I know, Right ?

Delicate Yet Flavourful with a Refreshingly Enjoyable Character
This tea is excellent. My taste dictates that I brew slightly stronger teas. I used a slightly larger portion of the loose leaf per 8-ounce cup and brewed for a little longer, e.g., about 5-6 minutes. The slight bitterness was adequately countered by a little bit of milk but the flavour of the tea popped out very pleasantly. If there was one thing that I could recommend as a possible improvement, it would be a tiny bit more roasting at production so that brewing time could be reduced without losing any of the flavour. That is exactly what I get from yet another excellent tea, namely Goodricke Darjeeling Roasted.

You can probably find much better tea for lower price in your local city teashops. And deceptive.
I bought this tea in August, so it could be that it's too old and also not kept well. They said they only harvest the autumnal flush. The tea I got is not worth the price. There is only a very weak hint of the unique taste of the Darjeeling tea, and most of it is just tasteless liquid. This is the second tea I've bought from Amazon and I have to say, tea is something one should not buy through Amazon. You can probably find much better tea for lower price in your local city teashops. Also I just noticed that the product reviews of all the teas this company sells are collected together. At first I thought it was the reviewers' mistake. This is deceptive! Darjeeling tea is not the same as Early Grey tea or any other tea. You cannot put out the reviews of all these different types of tea together. If I had known this, I would not have bought from this company. Amazon, what's going on? Shouldn't you guys look out for us customers, and ban such deceptive practice?
