Besides all the essentials it had an impressive variety of materials, including a quality sketch book. The case was well constructed, and I thought the size would make it easily portable. Also, it comes in a lovely sturdy box which made it ideal for sending long distance as a gift. The adult recipient was delighted with it!

Perfect for kids who love art

This is a truly beautiful set. It comes in a nice high quality case, a ton of colored pencils, and all sorts of others art equipment. It also comes with a pad of paper and a card with a youtube channel for instructional videos on things to draw. I gave it to my 10 year old son who has taken an interest in art and he LOVES it!

It's such a great value for everything you get and the quality is actually really high for this price point. If you bought these things separately you would definitely pay a lot more than it's going for. Pretty high quality sketch pad as well. The whole thing is pretty well done and the case is really high quality with a strong zipper. Our daughter's old sketch set was getting a little worn so we got her this one. It's great for long car trips and definitely a great way to get them off their phones and tablets for a while. Definitely a great starter set or an additional set for intermediate artists.
