Paper has a little bit of texture which is great. it can hold a lot of water. high-quality cover. You can use both sides of the page for painting. Pages are becoming smooth after the painting gets dry! Loves it.

Beautiful looking book. Papers are thick and I like the deckled edges. However the high cotton rag of the paper makes it a poor choice for watercolor. The cotton absorbs the water too quickly and if you add more water to increase blooming the paper buckles.
