Clay pellets have a lower density meaning they are lightweight, known as expanded clay aggregates or leca. Totally inert with higher porosity they will have greater water retention perfect for improving all growing conditions. 100% mineral product Clay pebbles will not rot, cannot be attacked by parasites (fungus, rodents, insects, etc.), are not conducive to the spread of plant diseases, are completely non-combustible (Euroclass fire rating – A1), fire-resistant, and safe, including in the presence of fire. They are particularly suitable for soils, pots, planters and vases. Our Pebbles have many benefits over competitors' products, no sharp edges that can damage delicate roots or harm plants making them vulnerable to diseases and pests. The round surfaces also ensure good root aeration and low compaction. Excellent performance in flood and drain systems where oxygen exchange in thick root mass is essential.
