Lovely! Great sketchbook. Only complaint is that the paper does not allow for erasing well. Just be aware. Otherwise, a beautiful book.

This item is beautiful, and I would have been thrilled to keep it, but it arrived with mold in the inside back and front cover, and first and last pages. I was very disappointed, and returned it immediately.

Beautiful cover, but I don't really like the pages. They're not pleasant in touch and look. I understand the philosophy behind this product but expected more smooth looking sheets.

Very nice journal for the price. Hopefully my daughter will write a novel and shoot to fame all because of this leather journal.

This is a lovely piece and is indeed leather bound, this was a purchase for my partner who has a slight obsession with journals (I know), she absolutely loved it, however the drawback there is she now won't use it until she has the perfect thing to write in it!The pages are good quality, thick paper which should easily allow an ink writer to use without any bleed through. The binding is solid, I can't see it coming loose very easily and the actual leatherwork for the design is very bespoke, you can tell each one would have its own subtle differences, which makes it truly unique.

A really nice journal, well made and the paper is very good. Took one star of because sveral of the pages were ripped, a few with the corner ripped off and a couple with half a page missing. My wife said that it added to the "rustic charm"

It looks nice but I really not sure at all that the cover is made of leather. It does not smell of or feel like leather at all. I would think twice before buying another one again...

Good item for the lightning price. Not real leather (or at least did not smell like it). Most of the pages were stained with the red paint used on the front and back cover.
