This book is timeless
I purchased this book some time ago and I absolutely love how this book is a classic. The principles of eating clean foods, balancing carbs with proteins, and understanding our hormonal systems is an evolving process at different stages of our lives.JJ Smith tops off this fantastic books with 50 great recipes that are both healthy and wonderfully delicious.

Good info.
I bought a few of JJ’s books and read them all. I think she has some good ideas and am well aware that exercise doesn’t truly cause weight loss. Weight loss is 90% diet and 10% activity. I personally don’t do well with a high carb diet which is what the smoothies are. Nonetheless, there is some good info here, especially if you’re insulin resistant. The book will give you options and get you started on a healthy path.

It Works and taste great
Loved this book along with her Green Smoothies for Life book. I used both books together and I eliminated the 7 fat-belly foods and drank 2 smoothies a day for 30 days and I lost 12 pounds for the month and now I am just drinking a smoothie for breakfast and still not eating the 7 fat-belly foods. I do not add the Stevia to my smoothies they are great without it, I do add the raw organic vanilla protein by Garden of life. I eat a full sandwich bag full of veggies between my breakfast smoothie and my lunch and then I eat a snack like a hard boiled egg or toast and peanut butter or some fruit between lunch and dinner. Also now instead of just water in my smoothie I add 1 cup vanilla Almond milk and 1/3 cup of water to each of my daily smoothies.

The book is very informative and I like how well she explains herself in the book about belly fat and what it is and why I have belly fat. It definitely motivates me to get healthy. I can't rate it completely because I just finished reading the book and haven't tried the recipes. Still to early to tell if it works for me or not. May have to get back to rating this in a few weeks.

6 Ways to Lose Belly Fat w/o Exercise
I have read JJ Smith's book on losing Belly Fat. I am delighted with the book. Not only does Ms. Smith tell you what not to eat butwhy and how to prepare foods (through normal household cleansing) if you cannot afford Organic foods (sometimes a little pricey).I love the idea that Ms. Smith gives us choices and why. Eat this but balance it with that...try this and if that doesn't work with you (because everyone is not the same) try this. I love it. The first time I have ever read a book that was so informative and easily to following regarding getting rid of BELLY FAT WITHOUT EXERCISE. Couple this book with Ms. Smith's 10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse and not only will you look good but you will FEEL good.C. Jordan, Maryland
