Bone China Cone Shape, Elegance White 20pc Dinnerware Set

For reference I purchased the 40p set, the 20p set, and some individual pieces.The first thing i noticed about the dish set is the size. Almost every piece is larger than i had expected. The large soup bowl is good for ramen, udon, or salads, but a bit too big for soup/cereal. Great for serving side dishes in though.The small bowls in the 40p set are perfect, I use them for everything; The only complaint I have about them is that they're not available for purchase outside the 40p set at this time, and I had hoped for a set for 12.The 3.7in bowls, purchased separately, are nice for sides, desserts, or dips. So far I've used them for seaweed salad, ice cream/affogato, salsa, and aioli. The "soup plates" in the 20p set are perfect pasta/salad dishes. A little too wide for soup, but I had already figured that would be the case before purchasing. I find myself using them more than I expected.The large plates are large. Enough so that I tend to place the small bowls on them during dinners, which gives a nice restaurant feel when entertaining. The small plates are easily big enough for a amin dish and two sides to stay separate.The serving bowls are large enough to be permanent display/fruit bowls, and the serving platters are preposterous. They actually don't fit in my current cabinets, but they look great covered in enough sushi rolls or baked goods for six people.The mugs that came with the 20p set were the one thing I really didn't want. Every dish set wants to throw in mugs, and while it's nice to have a matching set, I never find myself using them, and would much rather have another size of bowl or plate. This particular set has become the exception to that rule though, I've found myself really enjoying the feel of the unique handles. It's very pleasing to bounce the cup with your thumb.Cleaning the set has been a breeze. Hand washing and machine, nothing sticks or stains. set on egg yolk rinses off after a few seconds in hot water. I've also dropped some of the pieces while hand washing, onto the counter top, into a metal drying rack, and onto other dishes, and so far nothing has chipped, cracked, or broken.I've used the soup plate, serving bowl, and large plate for light baking, and had no issues with staining or breaking.The shape of the set allows everything to stack neatly for storage. I have 10 to 14 of each piece, and they all fit in a single cabinet. The pieces are clearly strong enough to withstand rubbing against one another without chipping.The dishes are not pure white, but slightly eggshell with occasional small black flecks in some spots, similar to the look of vanilla bean ice cream. There is a slight circular imprint on the center of the large plates due to the manufacturing process, but it's not terribly unsightly. There are no brand markings anywhere on the dishes, which is a nice bonus.Of all of the pieces I received, only one large plate had a flaw in it, where there was a break in the glaze in a small area near the center. Considering i got about a hundred dishes, one flaw is pretty reasonable.The seller is very polite and easy to work with. One of the boxes I received had been damaged during shipping, and five pieces were broken on arrival. I messaged the seller, and had replacements within four days with no hassle.I didn't set out to write a full essay, but here we are.I'm very happy with my purchase, the dishes have a unique look to them, and seem like they'll hold up very well. For around $400, I got a full bone china dinner set for 12-15 people with serving pieces.I'll update my review should anything change, and will add pictures as I gather them.

Overall, I really like this product and how it looks. The padding for most of the dishes was pretty good. Most of the dishes were separated by cardboard. However, I’m pretty disappointed that when unboxing one of my dish sets I found that one of my large plates came shattered. The large plates were separated by a paper like material. Which I believe contributed to my shattered plate. I generally don’t like to complain and try to fix things myself if I can or deal with the problem. But considering I bought the dish set to replace my previous set, that was missing dishes, as well as the price I’m pretty bummed that this is how I received my new set. I would love to leave a five star review since I was so excited about this purchase. Hoping they can make it right and will update if they do.

I was planning to give these lovely dishes as a wedding present but I changed my mind when I saw them. They were just what I had been looking for and so I kept them for myself! One of the bowls arrived broken so I contacted the seller and in 2 days a replacement was delivered. So the dishes are pretty and practical, I like eating on bone china and the service is was excellent.

Given the price, I would have expected the craftsmanship to be higher quality. Overall, they’re a cool look but if you look closely, they’re not very refined. They seem to have uneven temperature distribution. They’re quite heavy and rough on the bottom. One bowl and plate chipped already in a short period of time. I’m actually a bit disappointed given their relative price against their competitors.

I bought two sets, the 20 piece and the 16 piece, plus the 6" and 3.5" bowls. The bowls that come in the sets are not your normal bowls. The ones that come with the 20 piece set are called soup plate but are more of a pasta dish. The bowls that come with the 16 piece set are huge and more of a asian noodle bowl. The 6" bowl is more of the normal size bowl. So fare I have had these for about a month and use every day, no hand washing go right in the dishwasher. love them so far..

I love that they are not delicate. We tend to be hard on dishes and so far we have not chipped one. We are famous for that. So happy.

I want to buy delicate light weight china. But these are not light weight. They are pretty heavy duty porcelain. I don't feel these are high quality. The color also is not white but more of a cream shade. I measured each bowl is 509 grams. The plate is 389 grams. I wish they are not so heavy.
