I have never done a review on any item before until this so bear with me. Let me start off by saying that its such a beautiful pipe and comes with a very nice leatherette pouch which holds the pipe as well as a tamping tool just fine. Now as I sit here smoking this pipe, i am amazed by it. First off it is truely a work of art, the pictures here do it no justice, incredible detailing throughout, great worksmanship has gone into it. The first bowl i smoked started out about normally, lighting it then tamping it and lighting again. But after that it was phenominal, I had to do virtually nothing to break it in. The first bowl i was able to smoke it till nothing was left, that truely amazed me, ive spent twice the money for pipes that do not perform that well. Thinking maybe i got lucky I lit up another bowl, and to my suprise had to only light it once and was able to smoke it empty. During the smoke it did get hot around the bowl but never was it to uncomfortable, not to mention the bowl is fairly deep. Speaking of size this pipe is a great size, it is not huge nor is it to small, i think it is fairly balanced on size and a perfect fit in the hand
