Got this for gaming and it works great for me

This product's quality exceeded my expectations when considering the great price. I think the mic is a little too sensitive and the volume control only works when slid between max-volume and mid-volume (any lower and NO sound is produced). I would rather a mic be a little too sensitive than not sensitive enough and I would never set the volume below mid-volume anyways so these little issues do not matter to me. This product has been used frequently for 6 months and product still looks and feels the same as the day I bought it. Again, the price is great and the product exceeded my expectations.My sole purpose of getting this product was to connect my Sony XB950N1 headphones, https://www.amazon.com/Sony-XB950N1-Wireless-Canceling-Headphones/dp/B01MUGEYT7 , to my Xbox One Controller. Unfortunately, Xbox One is not setup for the use of Bluetooth headphones and those Sony headphones were designed in a way that only allows use of the mic when connected via Bluetooth. Sony has also designed their headphones in a way that prevents the use of a standard designed 3.5mm audio cable. So, I simply used a knife to remove a rather small section of the cables cover to match the Sony headphones original cable, which can be seen in my photos. Sony's decision for the design on their latest headphones is disappointing but it is obviously and way to make easy money by retailing "special" 3.5mm audio cable replacements.

They work great, the volume control is a nice addition too! Feels higher quality than the $8 I spent.

So I have a second gen PS4 (the one with all matte coverings) and always have it updated to the latest firmware. After getting sick and tired of not finding a headset setup I liked with the features I needed, I decided to try to use my Beats Headphones that I've had forever as a suitable solution to hear quality in-game audio, and also have quality microphone input. The Beats I have in the picture are Beats Solo Wireless 2, and let me tell you that these work FLAWLESSLY for my purposes. Plug the control end into the headphones, and the other end into the controller, and you're absolutely all set up to hear the audio through your headphones, and speak through the inline mic PERFECTLY (my friends online even said it was better than some of the other official headsets I tried!)As a secret feature I had the pleasure of discovering, using the cable with the mic muted is also super easy! Just hold down the control button the whole time you're plugging in the controller end, and voila! You're using the cable with the mic muted! To enable the mic again, just unplug it and plug it back in without holding the button and you're back in the chat :)This is exactly what I needed and has exceeded my expectations; the only thing I could possibly ask for would be a dedicated mute button, but this method is so quick and easy it may not even be relevant anymore. Thank you!!!!

The cord is a really nice quality — covered in a some sort of fabric jacket to improve flexibility and durability. The volume control slider is much easier to use compared to button control. The mic placement is a bit lower than the Beats cord which I appreciate because it is closer to the mouth and catches sound very well with no background sound or crackling.However, the end of the cable plugged into the headset is flimsy. I tried it with my Beats first and 90% of the time, I can only hear on one side. After a lot of fidgeting and twisting, I figured out that it has to be barely plugged in for me to hear in both ears.I tried it with my Jabra headset and it’s not as bad, I can’t hear in the Right side about 10% of the time, with some jiggling of the cord near the headset end.Unfortunately will have to give this 2 stars due to the bad sound.

My daughter couldn’t use her bluetooth headphones after the battery wore out when she facetimed on her ipad pro so we got her an adapter to be able to use them but unfortunately that didn’t solve the problem because the headphone cable didn’t have a mic. So, that’s why we ordered the BestGot cable. Now she can facetime or zoom and people on the other end can hear her. It has a nice long flexible fabric cord which I hope will make it more durable. As for the sound, she has volume limiting headphones so we really can’t put it through any real testing but it’s decent and has a nice sliding toggle that goes from completely off to high (the highest on the volume limiting headphones) instead of having to click and click to high and low. In addition to the toggle it also has a button to pause music. We are really good about taking care of our stuff so hopefully it will last long. If and when they go out we have a second one but will be sure to leave a review then.

Microphone doesn't seem to work all the time, and seems to be quiet unless I raise it to my mouth, I'm not sure if its because of my phone or the headset, however this is better still than what came with my Beats Solo headset. My original wire I think was weakened by the weather and tore really easily, it also couldn't control the volume. This headset uses a slider so it doesn't control the volume of the device but rather how much volume the headset itself can output.

Very disappointed with this product. I have a pair of good headphones but needed to swap out the cable for one with a microphone. I did not expect high quality, although this was one of the only products of its type I could find online or in stores. The package arrived early. The first cable only worked on one channel. The second cable did not work at all. Mind you, my headphones work with every other cable I own, so it is not the fault of the headphones. It would be best to avoid this product altogether. I am waiting to hear from the seller about a refund.

Broke in a month echos and had a staticky sound when using the headphones what good the first week then the issues accrued probably would not recommend this unless you wanna take the risk of it not working

Bought this as an alternative for my VMODA headphones that had a bright orange wire,pros:mic is well placed and very clear meaning can be used on consolesvolume and sound controls work and allow easy one-handed controlswould reccomend
