I've gotten fresh oysters four of the last six days. I got two knives and two gloves and my wife and I can now pop the hinge in about 15 seconds, slit the mussel, and eat off the shell. Great knife, I higlly recommend it.

Very sturdy. Works well as opening oysters. Blade is thick and there is no fear if it breaking.
