Q: Where is the driver info? The vendor's page seems devoid of configuration information.

It can be tricky. Even with their information, it's only easy if you revert back to one of their supported kernel versions. It works well when properly installed, but in my case I did not want to go back to a prior kernel so I downloaded the kernel code and cross compiled the drivers on my linux system. https://github.com/respeaker/seeed-voicecard There is information on the Seeed wiki

You might need to clone the git repository and run the installer script, which will recompile the kernel if it's not working on the default kernel. This is what I had to do, and then everything worked for me.

Q: Does the 3.5mm Jack support microphone in as well as speaker out?

The 3.5mm Jack only supports speaker out. But the MIC-L and MIC-R support microphone in.

Q: Does it need separate power it works with the Raspberry pi power itself?

Pi powered. No external required.
