This is the pump to keep with your car along with a tire repair kit.I have gone through four electric pumps, and three H. F. foot pumps through the years.This pump is solidly built. It has a large easy to read pressure gauge.The hose and connector look a little sketchy, being all plastic. They have held up under use, and there is no problem with them.Inflating a tire with this pump will take longer than with a cheap electric one. The cheap electric one will quit at some seemingly random time.If this pump breaks on me, I come back here and edit this review.

I stumbled upon this pump because I needed to inflate a bike tire asap and seen it could arrive quickly so I got it. Ive inflated/reinflated both schrader and a temporary presta valve on my bike, worked fine on both with good accuracy. My main complaint with the one I got is the lock lever is real tight, and repeated use may stress it to breaking. A micro dab of grease on the surfaces helped me a little but its still a bit tight.

The instructions came on a 2"x3" piece of paper in CHINESE! You'd think it would be a piece of cake to operate an air pump but for someone who has never done it before it wasn't easy. There were optional attachments with no explainations (at least not in english). Even after figuring out which attachment I needed I wasn't successful in getting air into the bicycle tire. Totally frustrating!

It connects to the valve stem easily and securely, the pressure gauge works well, and it inflates a 12 inch scooter tire to 40 pounds with 20 to 30 strokes. Good product.
