Yes, it is a model kit that you need to cut the parts off and assemble together, glue is not required though.

Q: is the manule in english

I'm not sure, but it's either in English or it's just pictures. My son completed the model in a matter of a couple of hours, and he speaks/reads only English. Not his first model of this type, though.

Q: Are the model nippers cuts exposed or hiding inside the assembly?

For the most part, they are hidden with the main assembly. However, there are some areas where they are exposed, such as the shoulder pylons and a few areas on the legs. Pretty good overall though
