Please do not buy this kit. It is absolutely terrible. Half the tricks you could do without the kit and the other half do not work or are too complicated. Please, please do not waste your money. I am so upset for my daughter who is so disappointed after being so excited to get a magic kit and being utterly let down by the sheer terribleness of this set.

Purchased this for a nine year old boy and wasn't sure how it would be received. This child had no experience with magic kits, and had never expressed an interest, but I wanted something different for him. He loves it and has had so much fun performing magic tricks for his family and friends (magic show for the family was a big hit, and a nice evening of family fun). I would purchase again.

My eight-year-old is starting to get into magic tricks, where he can entertain his friends and guests. Of course, he doesn't have the attention span to learn any of the complex magic tricks, but the simple ones, he will perform over and over again. Good, safe, harmless fun, especially in today's environment.

My nine year old loved it, and started doing tricks within half an hour. The instructions are pretty clear and concise, and he was putting on a magic show by evening. It has a few small parts that tend to go missing, but the kit inspired my son to delve a little deeper and use his brain to come up with some tricks of his own. I'm glad I bought it and would buy it again.
