Lots of Recipes!
I enjoy reading cooking magazines, and this is one of my favorites. I like the articles and the variety of recipes. Everyone in my household likes different foods so I'm always trying new things. Although I don't often follow recipes exactly, I get tons of ideas from magazines like this.Eating well has a great recipe index in front so it's easy to find what I'm looking for. Since I prefer to eat meatless, I appreciate the "vegetarian" section, but there's plenty of fish and meat recipes too. I can't say every recipe is wonderful, but there are many to choose from and I always find several I like. The desserts are very creative and all the recipes focus on what's in season. The articles are well selected and written. This month's articles included a review of the "fast diet", the run down on energy drinks, a story of a man preserving heirloom beans, and an article pointing out some ways to vary the grains in your diet. There were several others as well. This is a great magazine for foodies, weight watchers or anyone who enjoys a good food magazine.

Terrific healthful recipes!
If you enjoy healthy clean eating this is the magazine for you. Eating Well magazine has been my favorite source of easy healthful recipes for a few years now. Recipes are easy to follow and always work out always a couple vegetarian dishes and a good variety of other meat focused dishes. Lots of ethnic recipes if you like exploring other cultures. Never the “same ol’ thing”

Great Magazine.
I've been trying improve my eating habits and so I subscribed to this magazine. It is well written with nice pictures that only add to the text. The recipes for the most part are easy to read and require easy to find ingredients. There is rarely, if ever, a recipe that requires some strange ingredient or some strange cooking method.I will agree with some that it seems particularly ad heavy. This seems to be the case for many magazines I get lately as they are trying to stay at a reasonable price and compete with the recipe sites on line. However, the opportunity to have yummy recipes that are healthy and easy to prepare in one place is a big plus of this magazine.I like it enough that I have given it as gifts to some of my friends for holidays.

Great for both special diets and general healthy eating
I especially appreciate the fact that Eating Well provides a quick system you can use to spot recipes that are low-calorie, low-carb, low-fat, or high fiber. If you are watching your weight or have someone in your family with a dietary limitation, these markers at the top of the recipe are a great quick tool. The recipes themselves are generally really good. Some of the negative reviews have complained that some recipes include meat. That's true. There are plenty of vegetarian magazines out there, and vegetarians will probably enjoy Vegetarian Times or one of the others. But that's not what Eating Well is about. Instead, it focuses on ways to cook more healthfully while still being a food lover. Not everyone will like every recipe, but even though our family has some serious health issues that limit what people can eat, I find two or three great recipes in every issue. If you are less restricted and just want to make your meals healthier, you will probably find a lot more than that.

I Look So Forward To This Arriving Each Month!
---If you found this review helpful, please click "Helpful"---INSIDER SECRET: Don't pay full price for this. You can get magazine subscriptions for super cheap with Amazon on their "daily deals" they rotate the featured magazines daily but it will be back on there in a few days. You need to go back into your subscriptions and click "Do not Autorenew" OR ELSE it will renew it whenever it runs out automatically for whatever the price shown is, not the "daily deal" (AKA dirt cheap) price. Enjoy your new magazines :-)To save recipes from magazines, I have a big binder with section dividers and tons of clear page sleeves. This makes recipes easy to thumb through and prevents the pages from getting dirty as I'm cooking and touch the recipe. For more Amazon reviews, follow @CassandraMercedes on Instagram

Great magazine to keep things on the healthy side without becoming a boring cook
I look forward to receiving this magazine every month. I had allowed my subscription to run out because I had accumulated too many copies to begin with, but I am glad to be subscribed again. I do find issues are hit or miss. Some have 20 things I am excited about, while others have two. But, I think the same can be said for any food magazine because everyone has some level of personal taste.I appreciate most that this particular magazine always has a healthy dose of vegetables in the recipes, and often spotlights useful topics, like the value of season-based eating, and eating for certain nutrition needs.

Something for Everyone in this Magazine
I began the subscription using a deal that made it really inexpensive. I've purchased healthy eating magazines and books before and often didn't like the recipes that they contained. Eating Well has changed that experience for me. Every issue contains delicious recipes that are easy to make as well as healthy. I try to find ways to get more vegetables into our diet, and there are always plenty of yummy recipes to try. Besides recipes there are informative articles on food-related topics such as the excellent article on sodium that recently ran. And your subscription gives you access to their online site that contains tons more recipes! I really enjoy this magazine. In fact, it is the only subscription that I have renewed lately. I let all of the others lapse as they didn't hold my interest any longer. But not true about Eating Well, I love this one and will continue to be a subscriber.
