Jessicurl Gelebration Spray, 8 Fluid Ounce

One of my favorite brands. I use this on refresher days especially. But I also use it after curl cream, and after gel, and after plopping ... when I give my hair a good diffuse before air drying, I will spray this on and it gives it that last little bit of structure to hold those waves before air drying. This stuff is a soft hold. I liked it enough, I ended up buying the 32 ounce refill bottle from their website.The one caveat is the spray is not super even and fine and I tend to get it all over my bathroom if I am not careful. But ... so far it has not clogged. Other than that, no regrets.

Always been a big fan of Jessicurl products, and I LOVE that they offer fragrance free (FF) versions. I’m allergic to synthetic fragrances and it’s incredibly hard to find curly hair products without them. I have very frizzy, fine, color treated, 2B-2C hair and this product adds the soft hold that’s not at all crispy. I use this Gelebration spray about 12-15 pumps or a palm full, in addition to the Rockin Ringlets (about a quarter sized amount) and it produces beautiful and touchable curls. Volume is good too. I always try new products when I find a FF line, but have for over a decade always come back to Jessicurl.

This product is for fine hair. As reference, I do have fine, wavy/curly hair. The product is UNSCENTED, which is fine with me provided it meets other expectations. For the price point, it did not.BE AWARE that this is the SAME PRODUCT as ROCKIN RINGLETS, just watered down. Ingredients are identical except for the added water. I bought both, and like Rockin Ringlets better for moisture. I developed an allergy to fragrance, so finding a product for my fine wavy/curly hair was really hard. Until I found this! I love it!! Use it right after the shower...spray all over and then comb through, let air dry. Beautiful shiny and soft hair with no frizziness. Sometimes the pump cligs but I clean it with some warm water ever so often. Also you should shake the bottle well before spritzing.

Generally: This is okay spray gel for my fine curly hair. It can be a little difficult to get the right amount of coverage, as the spray comes out as a tight stream. With the amount of product I use, it doesn't holdup overnight unlike some other gels. The 2oz sprayer is great for travel, so I continue to use it.Most recent purchase: The 8oz (unscented) bottle I recently received performs differently than several 2oz bottles I've bought in the past. The spray is actual a cone shaped mist now, and it does not leave my hair the same - less tamed, even if I spray to the point that it needs to be scrunched. I think it's diluted in comparison. For a test, I refilled my near empty 2oz with the newer product. First shower the gel was a stream and held as expected. Second shower, the tiny bottle also started spraying a cone, and did not hold as well.
