This tea tastes like regular black tea to me
This tea tastes like regular black tea to me, but not as bitter or astringent and maybe a little sweetness. I can't drink black tea because it gives me a lot of heartburn (most teas do). This tea doesn't give me heartburn and is more pleasant to drink. I am looking forward to finally having iced tea again this summer, for now it's great as a hot tea. I don't put anything in it and it's wonderful. It's also said to be caffeine free. With all the health benefits, I will be happily drinking this from now on!

Yum! Not a bad tea.
I will admit, its bitter, maybe a bit to bitter for some peoples liking but i quite enjoy it. I t actually has a sweet taste to it after you get past the bitter first taste. It is a light cream color and it tastes light after the bitterness, it is quite good really and very calming since it is herbal. I use it to help me sleep at night since i have insomnia, it lulls me into being relaxed while i read a book and i can doze off afterwards. You get a ton in this box, 100 bags! you can add honey or flavors to it if you want (i would even say it would be good for an odd version of a hot toddy since its sweet already you dont need to add honey) I highly enjoy this tea and i have it almost every night since i have gotten it because of its calming properties and its bitter sweet taste.Note - I have received this item in exchange for an honest review.

I love this tea
I love this tea, which i have been drinking for over 5 years now. I bought this brand to try, compared to the other brand with the ladies on the box shown picking tea. I chose this one because of its lower price. I after I received it and used it, I ordered more because the tea bags are encased in a better quality bag than the other brand, and taste the same.

Replaced coffee with gynostemma
Gynostemma tea is awesome. I gave up coffee because of it. I drink about 2-3 bags per day by keeping the used bag in the cup. At the end of the day, throw all bags away.

great tea good value
Takes some getting used to, but i mix this with other teas and once in a while add stevia. I feel better overall, but not gonna say its strictly because of the tea, could be other things.

like the tea, but
I'm rethinking my earlier review, as I 'thought' I had read it was grown in Thailand, but the packaging said 'China'. I'm not too keen on China re 'truth in advertising', will search for another grower.
