Hooray. My Old Cable Was Shredding and I Found This Replacement. Kinda Long, But ---- It Works
Longer cable than I expected, but the good news is: Now I can sit at my kitchen table and be plugged in across the room, charging my Ipod Touch. Old cable didn't reach to the outlet. Hooray.Works well, charges just fine.

Don’t buy, too expensive and doesn’t work as promised
I purposefully bought the Apple Brand iPhone charger for my iPhone 7. But, unfortunately, it hasn’t performed like I thought it would. I have only had it a few days and I switched out this charger foran Ankar charger to use.Why is it advertised as being an Apple product for an Apple phone when it doesn’t work as promised.It wasn’t cheap, it was $20.00I buy a lot of products from Amazonand I usually only give reviews on the products I am unhappy with or have returned for some reason. I didn’t keep anything onthis charger so I don’t think I can return itnow. But I am going to call Apple Support and get their opinion.I am not sure what % of the products I buy from Amazon I am completely happy with,but I do like the fact that most things are free shipping as a Prime member, although not everything is. A case in point is a folding plastic table I ended up buying at Home Depot for less money and the shipping was free. If I had purchased it from Amazon, it was going to take several days to get it and I think the shipping was around $17. That was unacceptable to me, so I ended up shopping for a better deal with free delivery.On well, sorry for the added comments about another product.

Deceptive Amazon Pic
The cod works great and I believe it is Apple certified, but I didn’t get a charge block. The photo shown on the page for the item shows a charging cable and a charging block. All I got was the charging cable. I read a little bit further in the description and realize then they wouldn’t be shipping me a charging block. Only the cable. I should’ve read the description more closely, and not just looked at the deceptive photo used to lure you into buying this item.
