Excellent
I bought this product because I have a long term elbow/forearm strain injury that I could not seem to heal from (Iโve had it for about five years). After using the flexbar for about three months, I have started to feel noticeable improvement. There are plenty of video tutorials online that show you how to get the best from it, and once you work out which exercises to use you will soon feel the benefit.

Recommended by my personal trainer to improve wrist & hand strength & flexibility, help reduce pain.
My personal trainer (the best I've had & very knowledgeable) recommended that I get a Theraband Flexbar to improve my hand and wrist strength, which I've noticed is not as strong as it used to be. I'm 61, fit and healthy, with strong legs but my upper body strength needs improvement. I've noticed that I'm finding it harder to get twist caps off bottles, plus I've got 'Golfers Elbow', even though I don't play golf! The thinnest Flexbar is yellow, the next one up in the range is red - ideal for starting off if you're not too weak, particularly females. It's made of solid flexible rubber, 30cm long x 3.5cm across. It comes sealed in thick cellophane wrapping, with a User Guide wrapped around the Flexbar. There are 2 exercises with b&w photos of a person using the Flexbar, and very brief instructions under each photo. The instructions didn't make sense to me, not descriptive enough, which was disappointing. I recommend that you look up online videos on how to use it. My PT, Nick of No Regrets Training, has online videos showing how to do a variety of exercises with the Flexbar. He also has an older Theraband Flexbar Instruction Manual, published in 2005, with 26 exercises (see my photos). Maybe Theraband should consider updating the Manual and including it with their Flexbars ...

Actually wild how fast this started working. Got tennis elbow from golfing. Been sore the last month. Found this. Did the exercise before golf, was still sore. Did it after golf and again this morning and my elbow feels so so much better already. Will continue doing it and seeing how it progresses but very happy with the purchase so far

The TheraBand FlexBar will banish your tennis elbow if used correctly
In a nutshell: I have been enjoying the last 5 days without the pain or ache of tennis elbow for the first time in almost 10 months. In early Dec 2018 I got a case of acute lateral epicondylitis via a combination of pulling a heavy bag of luggage through multiple large airport terminals with only my right arm, and then pulling the luggage very roughly out of an airplane overhead bin, once again yanking with my right arm and hyperextending it. In late June 2019 I finally tried the red TheraBand FlexBar after giving up on everything else. I started performing Tyler twists, 3 sets of 15 reps each, all within about an hour, not spread out throughout the day. 7 days a week, even through soreness. (videos on how to do Tyler twists can be found online and in the included instructions) The first time was very painful, as was to be expected. By the fifth day or so I could do the twists relatively easily without sharp pain. I kept with the red bar for another few days. I then ordered the green FlexBar, continuing with 3 sets, fifteen reps each, of Tyler twists every day, occasionally taking off one day of the week all the way to the time of this writing, Sept. 18, 2019. Bottom line: I experienced rapid, exhilarating bursts of improvement, followed by disappointing re-emergence of aches and pains, throughout the entire time using the FlexBar, until about 5 days ago. So almost 3 months of continuous use of the FlexBar. I only used NSAIDs such as Ibuprofen or aspirin very rarely, as I wanted to be able to gauge the amount of pain I felt in order to note improvement. Although I've gone to zero noticeable symptoms in just less than 3 months doesn't mean everyone will. Still, I would highly recommend being doggedly persistent with your Tyler twists, as my improvement wasn't perfectly linear. But boy did it pay off when suddenly I felt no symptoms whatsoever. Could it be that I would have improved naturally over time without the Flexbar? Sure, it's possible, but probably would have taken much longer. You will feel noticeable improvement just a few days after beginning, so stick with it and I think you'll be highly impressed.
