After using voice grips and hammer to get it loose from seat had to file down small ridge on pedestal that was catching. Works fine now.

Fit like a glove in the pedestal. Perfect height for me and my seat. However my question is HOW DO YOU GET THE 6 INCH STAND OUT OF THE PEDESTAL? Mine is completely stuck. Do I have to remove the entire pedestal and hit it with a hammer? Only frustrating part so far with this product.

I ordered two of these, one to use by itself on the bow and one with a standard 11" post aft on my duck boat. These brought the hunter's eyes up to the top of the blind where they need to be. They are a quality product and work well on my Grizzly Tracker.

The exact items we needed.. I also reviewed the other shoppers posted reviews. First time I held it.. correct it is rough. The second time, with wet and oily hands, I was surprised I held on to it. Therefore, I feel the rough surface on the poles is so, if and when your hands are wet, or slimy on can still hold on to it. And your hands do get slimy from touching and handling fish..

This six inch extension for your boat seat post is just right for the taller person to keep your knees/legs from getting cramped and tired from being bent too much when you are fishing from the pedestal seats. Also makes it easier to operate a foot control trolling motor. For shorter people just pull it out and put it away. Also works well for when you use a bicycle style "butt" seat to stand and lean against. These are not easy to find and I was glad to find it on Amazon. I already owned two and had found two for a friend some time back. I ordered this one for him because of another friend he wanted to get one for.
