The 6-Foot (1. 8 m) Adjust for work-positioning rope lanyard is designed to be used as part of a work-positioning system. The lanyard allows the user to easily regulate the lanyard with one hand when in a work-positioning practice. The Adjust for fits itself around a structure (tower, pylons, etc. ) and attaches to the side-positioning D-rings of the harness (classification AP). The rope lanyard of the Adjust for goes through the rope adjuster in a way that when a weight is applied, the rope adjuster rotates and locks automatically so that the rope lanyard is at the desired length. This is done in both a smooth and controlled motion when taking in or elongating the rope lanyard's length. To bring the rope lanyard up to the support, remove your weight from the rope lanyard and pull on the rope lanyard forward. When the optimum position for work is reached, let go of the lanyard and the rope adjuster will lock automatically. To move the lanyard away from the support, pivot the rope adjuster forward and with the force of your weight the lanyard will elongate. When the optimum position for work is reached, let go of the lanyard and the rope adjuster will lock automatically. The Adjust for must not be used for fall arrest. The Adjust for work-positioning rope lanyard is for work-positioning practice only and must be used with a full body harness designed for such purpose. It also must be used with a full fall arrest system. Maximum allowable fall distance within work positioning is 2-Foot (0. 6 m). Applicable standards: ANSI Z359. 4-2007, A10. 32-2004, OSHA 1926 and manufactured in accordance with CSA requirements. Applications: Tower climbing, Rigging, Scaf folding, Ladder climbing and Tree trimming Rope are Polyester sheath and headset nylon core with a diameter of 1/2-Inch (12. 5 mm) and tensile strength of 10, 000-Pound (44. 5 kN). 5/8-Inch (16 MM) Carabiner (PM11Z – C1 CARABINER) are proof-loaded 100% at 3, 600-Pound (16 kN) with tensile strength of 5, 000-Pound (22. 2 kN) and gate strength - side and face at 3, 600-Pound (16 kN). 1-Inch (26 MM) Carabiner with Captive Pin (P202Z – T1 CARABINER) are proof-loaded 100% at 3, 600-Pound (16 kN)with tensile strength of 11, 200-Pound (50 kN) and gate strength - side and face at 3, 600-Pound (16 kN).
