Mapplethorpe Flora: The Complete Flowers Hardcover – March 14, 2016

I was given a copy of Mapplethorpe The Complete Flowers some years ago for my birthday. It is beautiful. When this volume was announced, I was interested but not in a hurry to get it since I had the earlier title. This is a very nice book! The illustrations are excellent and of comparable quality to the early book. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Mapplethorpe's work on flowers (Considered by many as among the best..especially his black and white work).

All in all, this is a great book. I was never a fan of Mapplethorpe's other work but the flowers always got me.

Beautiful cover and dust jacket. Complete survey of Mapplethorp's floral images and beautifully printed. Great survey and inspiring to to study.

Phenomenal book! I say a must have, Mapplethorpe aside from “colorful” life was genius when it comes to photography and this book showcase it very well.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, with Mapplethorpe's FLORA, I am speechless.
